  1. Well done to Josh, Ryan and Nathan for qualifying for the U21 British final at Kent's semi final last night. Enjoy the final guys and good luck. Bodes very well for KLYS this year.
  2. As an fairly neutral, the meeting was disappointing viewing from a racing point of view. Obviously affected by losing a rider to a harsh incident did not help Scunthorpe at all. However home track advantage is one thing but even so Scunthorpe riders just did not get out of the gate at all making it easy for a confident and competent home side. Positives were the humour from the Scunthorpe supporters on the back bank, obviously disappointed but in good voice and excellent banter. One to savour for Peterborough and one to forget for Scunthorpe. Best wishes to the injured rider who it appears is not too bad, could have been worse, as it was not a nice incident.
  3. Great battles last weekend with Josh and Nathan riding for Scunthorpe and Sheffield. Josh coming out on top this time with good points but Nathan battling hard, this can only be good for KLYS this season.
  4. Well done Josh Bailey, we are following your PL rides here at Kings Lynn and a great start. I'm sure the Scunthorpe crowd have warmed to your determination and tenacity. We shall probably bring a few fans over to some meetings this year and will see you at Peterborough away. Go Josh!
  5. As a K Lynn supporter its easy to look through rose coloured specs , but it looks like a strong set up, not too much change and with Nathan and Josh experiencing more of the away tracks with PL teams that can only add. Don' t expect them to be at the top but they have more experience across the board than last year, well managed and if they keep fit and well then could spring a few surprises.
  6. As a Kings Lynn supporter I am very pleased that you have Josh Bailey at 7. Good that the boss has taken pressure of him. Whether or not the 3 point system is correct or not is an aside, that's what the league has, so teams and fans need to work with it. JB gives everything and battles like a terrier , never giving up, so with fans support he will , I am sure , be an asset. Look after him and have a great season.
  7. Not sure that asking for the season dates had anything to do with me! ....... but they have been announced today. Looking forward to the end of March and seeing these young riders shine..
  8. Looking forward to the season. A good balance of riders who mostly know each other well and hopefully will support one another. Riders also racing in higher league racing to bring more experiences back with them. Would like some dates soon though... as nothing in the diary for the Young Stars yet.
