  1. If the Bees would have been able to stay at Brandon in the top division would he have had the funds for that. He was going to sign a three year lease on the stadium, wasn't he?
  2. The most points Panthers have scored in a home meeting, this season, is 53. It is highly unlikely that they will score 60. Unless Scunthorpe fall foul of mechanical issues or in meeting injuries Worrall, Garrity, Allen and Neilsen should have enough to score 32 points between them.
  3. Wolves central defender, Ryan Bennett, used to be a regular at Kings Lynn when he played for Norwich. I'm sure when Lewis Kerr had his crash at Peterborough Ryan auctioned a pair of his boots to raise some money for Lewis.
  4. Couldn't agree more. Right up there with " from where I was standing/sitting, it looked OK to me"
  5. Did say I could be wrong. Should have done the research. The 8 day rule doesn't apply if the guest is replacing the home No.1
  6. Don't think the 8 day rule applies if he is replacing the No.1. Could be wrong though.
  7. 8.1.2 Where a rider suffers Concussion at a Meeting then a fixed period of Suspension will be automatically applied to the riders SCB Registration and the riders FMN will be notified. The minimum period of Registration / Licence suspension will be: Over 20 years of age: 9 days (or more if so indicated by the MO) 16-19 years of age: 12 days (or more if so indicated by the MO) 15 years old and under: 23 days (or more if so indicated by the MO) 16.5 FACILITIES h) is sick or carrying a non-speedway injury for which a Medical Certificate must be supplied to the SCB within 48 hours of the sickness / injury occurring in which case the Rider will receive a mandatory 7 days suspension of his SCB Registration from the day of the meeting.
  8. Still plenty of time left for half the field to drop out
  9. I think, on appeal, Peterborough fined a grand for each of the three meetings Holder missed. No action against Holder as he was given permission by Peterborough to go to Poland.
  10. Time to play the game. Just refuse every date offered for re-staging.
  11. Was this a decision made by the "on call" MC member who has no idea what he is ruling on?
  12. Failing that Duckworth/Lewis have a fantastic formula for finding a winner.............
  13. The last time I was in Poland watching speedway two riders from each team get to do some pre meeting practice laps. Isn't it about time this was introduced here.
  14. And maybe Peterborough knew the rules were illegal.
  15. "an agreement was reached allowing further opportunities for the use of "home grown" riders" From Fridays press release. Guess Tai can Jason and Greg can't, but of course that is subject to any legal action that may be pursued
  16. On a positive note this is the last season with KC and the Sunshine Band
