Crudley ...Premier League, mmmmmmmmmmm -
Well we got the seven points we needed, whats the position now with the Kitties loosing ? (Is it just me, can't work out why they have one match left listed, is there another match in line somewhere ?)
-
Looks like the only chance Ippo have now is if Peterboro slip up in one of their matches this Sunday ? (can't see it happening though with their beefed up last minute side)

Ipswich Witches Vs Workington Comets Pl Aug 18th 2016

Have to say wasn't expecting it to be quite that easy.... If only we had started the season with this seven, recon we would have been in with a shout. Hate to say I was right, but I said before a wheel was turned our reserves weren't up to it at the beginning and Kerr was a surprise but Ben is always brilliant, even if he doesn't win he gives 100% entertainment and JJ was always a good option. What can you say about Danyon.. he was absolutely fearless last night, head in hands moment and he nailed it, boy that boys got balls ! If only we had them at the outset Never mind, lets hope we can squeak through -
Will See you later....literally !

Should be able to see you boys from the dark side

Having watched Roynon for many Years in the National League, when he gets it right he's quick, but he seems to come off alot (a certain National League Final at Lyn against Mildenhall springs to mind with Stefan Nielsen) but according to his average he is progressing a bit now ? Williamson is a well established NL Heat leader / No. 1 Vissing can be quite determined. Quite agree on the atmosphere, the "mini massif" on the start line is starting to build momentum. -

Should be interesting to see how JJ and Danyon ride against Roynon & Williamson (on paper both visitors are stronger) and Vissing could go well but should be an Ippo win for my mind. Shame if we don't make the play offs because the atmosphere has been much better at Foxhole this season -
If there's anymore horns or a "big head" available I am starting a "Mini Massif" on the start line (How about a Ben Barker ?)..willing to pay by the way not looking for a freebie So far we have introduced whistles, gazoos, glockenspeel (sorry about the spelling), castenets and a horn thingy...have you heard us yet ? On the hunt for some cow bells but they are illusive, wink

Hoping for a good Witches win, but we all know what Ryan Douglas can do, "Naughty Auty" has got plenty of previous with Ippo and Wilkinson and Bailey could do well at reserve......we need a good start going into this weekends fixtures "Up North", hoping for plenty of noise from the terraces as the BSF are a bit underpower this week !
-
I wonder if CL will give the Massif another mention in this Thursdays meeting ?

Well done to the Witches, great result, onto next week....maybe who knows in this game ! -
Promise I will pop over to see you at some point...let me know when you are back.

Antiques are my profession not my age, and yes for the past 5-6 Seasons I have been virtually the only one with a whistle making any noise, so maybe that makes me a "Massif" founder member ?

Last chance saloon for Ippo -
We havn't missed any home meetings this Season, but seeing as we sit on the opposite side do we still count ?

Well what can I say...the "Massif" were excellent again, we could hear you loud and clear from the start line, it really makes the atmosphere which has been so lacking in previous Years, well done guys (and a mention from CL too in the programme), the riders clearly like it as well. When I saw the track I didn't think it would go ahead, but it turned into a good night, apart from Danyon, best wishes mate. We tried the digeree-doo but it didn't make enough of an impact so we are trying to find a voo-voo-zella to accompany the "lone whistler". By the way didn't "Kingy" ride Heat One with some balls, Now...off to the World Cup ....GOOD LUCK DANNY
