  1. Firsts class Brummies tonight, Jack Parkinson-Blackburn is a very special young man 11+5 from 6 rides need I say any more
  2. I have to agree Rye House were worthy winners, My biggest turn off was the attitude of the officials, why are the riders allowed back to the pits after every stoppage? Remaining riders should be straight back on two minutes. The decision to exclude Shuttleworth and remove him from the meeting, for his actions, well justified, No further action needed as he cost Belle Vue of a chance to win. Pity Ellis's bike packing up in Heat 8, robbed us of four laps of the duel of the two previously unbeaten riders (Ellis & Morley) Rules or no rules the decision of watching a single rider going round on his own, was a complete waste of time, common sense, award the race. As for the P.A. yes it was poor/non existent on bend 2 ,I moved to the grandstand area,, there is was working. Finally we need to allocate the Final based on their track conditions, not on who has room in the pits for X number of riders, maybe a track not in the National League?
  3. Another terrific performance from the Brummies, all round a great team effort, My first visit to the National Stadium, impressive.
  4. I believe the cut off date is the last Sunday in September (26-9-16) However I sure Belle Vue will get there matches in the time (weather permitting) they can stage their matches when they like?
  5. KLYS may well may do well to learn from tonight as quickly as possible, put this defeat well behind them, try to get the results needed to make a late bid for the play-offs, tonight they did make starts, but were passed, especially by Danyon Hume, who together with JPB (Jack Parkinson-Blackburn) were awesome, King's Lynn were just blown away by the best team in the league.Special thanks to Brummies, guest Dan Halsey, who's fine paid max was very entertaining to watch. Nathan Greaves deserves a mention for his commitment and attitude, without his efforts the Brummies would have hit the 70 point mark.
  6. Brummies speedway, every single one of the lads battled and grafted and refused to be denied, victory tonight at Kent, silverware secured, this was a special performance by a special team. I am so loving this season and this team. I am so loving my speedway. This is just like watching the successful Warwickshire Bears cricket team in the 90's, no stars but something more than the sum of its parts. Go Brummies go!
  7. I'll start by saying that Kent are a fine team, but their ability to run a meeting inside two hours is truly shocking. There as been a awful lot said about the Brummies and Drury about 'Timewasting' case not made. Wasting over 20 minutes at the start of the meeting with events, which may well be okay, but not when you are up against a curfew, please get your act together. As I said earlier Kent are a good team, racing is great, but the amount of moaning on this topic about the lack of heat 15 is totally in dreamland if you think Kent may have got a 5-1, as good as Shanes, Bowen or Ayres, are there would be no guarantee of a 5-1, maybe Brummies would have got one and won 48-42, after all had not all had been previously beaten by Tom Bacon and I'm sure Jack Smith would have also given his best. Now in my opinion, and no doubt Kings fans won't agree, Kent are a good team, but in four meetings in 2016, they have not got the better of the Brummies, so I rest my case. I look forward to any future meeting they are great speedway
