tarkens replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
as most of you probably know Grzegorz Zengota has been out of action for over a year now, after he broke his ankle in pre season training in Spain last year. he shared his story and some pics of his ankle on facebook today. in short - doctors in Spain messed up the operation, the ankle got infected and it led to necrosis, he almost lost his foot but doctors in Poland somehow managed to fix it with skin and muscle grafts. photos are quite 'heavy' and if you're currently eating your lunch, you might want to finish before you click the link: https://www.facebook.com/ZengiRacing/photos/pcb.3062194980494258/3062194860494270/?type=3&theater -

43 pages match programme for Sparta v Motor - https://wts.pl/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/program-1206.pdf score sheet at the bottom -
^ i just checked and still works perfectly fine for me i have another one, maybe give this one a try - http://programyzuzlowe.ovh/Programy/Automatyczne/Ekstraliga/ - ekstraliga auto 2020 instruction is obviously in Polish so let me know if you can't figure something out and I'll translate for you. you select the teams from the dropdown menu - cells X4 and X6, logos will update automatically, then you select the riders from the dropdowns. in the heat tables, MS stands for place, PT for points, it won't work if you enter points only, so use 1/2/3/4 in MS field. ----------- and another version attached, simplified just select the teams from dropdown menu in B12/13 and B14/15 and then use dropdowns to select riders program_klasyczny_v1 (1).xlsx

Michelsen 6. Lampart 7. Trofimow most likely it'll be Hampel under number 2, not Jamrog Wlokniarz Czestochowa - GKM Grudziadz Wlokniarz: 9. Madsen 10. Holta 11. Lindgren 12. Przedpelski 13. Doyle 14. Swidnicki 15. Miskowiak GKM: 1. Pedersen 2. Buczkowski 3. Pawlicki 4. Bjerre 5. Laguta 6. Turowski 7. Lotarski if you want to receive the teams as they're announced, download the PGE Ekstraliga app -

KK is owed so called 'sponsorship money', in theory club paid him everything they legally had to so they'll get a license no problem. Most, if not all, top riders in Ekstraliga have sponsorship deals on top of what clubs legally can pay them, Woffinden's contract is mostly paid by Betard and believe me, all in all it's way more than Ekstraliga's official maximum, which is no more than 150k for signature (~£30k) and 4,5k per point (~£1k) According to sportowefakty 30 riders this season had max contracts, but obviously some riders like KK, Holder or Lindgren, even though had disappointing seasons and low average, earned more than e.g. Michelsen or Smektala who had higher avg then them, (I assume all 5 were in that group of 30), but not as good sponsorship deals provided by the club.

as far as I know both Holta at Czestochowa and Pedersen at GKM are 100% confirmed, however can't be announced until 1st November. KK out of Gorzow most likely will happen, based on rumours and his interview on TV last week, Gorzow owes him circa £100k but he isn't the only one waiting for his money, if he's smart he'll leave, Jakub Kepa (the guy in charge in Motor Lublin) visited KK and his father recently and some users (with usually very good info) on Polish speedway forum are saying he's already at Lublin. we should know more regarding KK in 8 days as 20th October is a deadline for Gorzow to pay him the money they owe

I reckon both Jamrog and Milik are leaving, Drabik and Czugunow to take their place, so: 1. Woffinden 2. Czugunow 3. Fricke 4. Drabik 5. Janowski 6. Liszka 7. Wojdylo As for Lambert, I think it's 99,9% confirmed he's leaving, which means Motor managed to secure a solid Polish rider for no 1-5. Otherwise they'd be able to guarantee Lambert 4 rides/match as no 8 who replaces someone from 1-5. As for team photos etc., I believe all riders were contractually obliged to show up and spent few days with sponsors, at meetings, season closing ceremony, etc.

LESZNO and LUBLIN, I know those are typos, just making you aware Kukalov - and another one here. Anyway, if all media information are true, those will be the teams in Ekstraliga 2020: Unia Leszno Jarosław Hampel Janusz Kołodziej Piotr Pawlicki Brady Kurtz Emil Sajfutdinow Bartosz Smektała Dominik Kubera Szymon Szlauderbach Kacper Pludra Jaimon Lidsey Sparta Wrocław Tai Woffinden Gleb Czugunow Jakub Jamróg (?) Maciej Janowski Max Fricke (?) Maksym Drabik Patryk Wojdyło Przemysław Liszka Włókniarz Częstochowa Leon Madsen Paweł Przedpełski Fredrik Lindgren Rune Holta Jason Doyle Jakub Miśkowiak Bartłomiej Kowalski Falubaz Zielona Góra Antoni Lindbaeck Michael Jepsen Jensen Piotr Protasiewicz Martin Vaculik Patryk Dudek Mateusz Tonder Damian Pawliczak Norbert Krakowiak Jan Kvech GKM Grudziądz Nicki Pedersen Przemysław Pawlicki Kenneth Bjerre Krzysztof Buczkowski Artem Łaguta Marcin Turowski Roman Lachbaum Motor Lublin Krzysztof Kasprzak Grzegorz Zengota Mikkel Michelsen Grigorij Łaguta Matej Zagar Paweł Miesiąc Wiktor Lampart Wiktor Trofimow Stal Gorzów Szymon Woźniak Anders Thomsen N. K. Iversen Bartosz Zmarzlik Rafał Karczmarz Mateusz Bartkowiak ROW Rybnik Kacper Woryna Troy Batchelor Mateusz Szczepaniak Daniel Bewley Siergiej Łogaczow Mateusz Tudzież Przemysław Giera Some question marks obviously, Fricke is being linked with Rybnik, Jamrog with Rybnik and Gorzow (unless KK to Lublin doesn't happen), no Lambert who said he wants to go back to Nice 1 liga, the problem is no one there can afford him. I assume Hancock will make a comeback this year (Rybnik?)

substitute riders: Smolinski, Michelsen, Smektala, Thomsen, Aspgren, Berge why Smektala, not Drabik? why Smolinski, not Huckenback?
-
1. Madsen (2nd in GP) 2. Zmarzlik (1st) 3. Sajfutdinow (3rd) (amazingly, also the top three in GP series) 4. Vaculik (5th) 5. A. Laguta (11th) 6. Doyle (7th) 7. Kolodziej (14th) 8. Woffinden (13th) 9. G. Laguta (-) 10. Drabik (-) 11. Pi. Pawlicki (-) 12. Pedersen (-) 13. Michelsen (-) 14. Bjerre (-) 15. Janowski (6th) 16. Wozniak (-) 17. Dudek (8th) 18. Lindgren (4th) 21. Fricke (GP 2020) 24. Iversen (10th) 25. Zagar (9th) 33. Lindback (12th)
-
I hope it's Tai, Laguta, Michelsen and Drabik, but we all know that if Hancock wants it, he'll get it. Laguta is an interesting one, he's definitely been one of the fastest riders in the series this year and yet he finished hmm 11th? I think Tai and Michelsen are shoe-ins. Michelsen had a very good season and even though he had a poor Challenge, he definitely deserves it more than the likes of Bjerre, Lindback, Thomsen, Lambert etc. 1. Zmarzlik 2. Madsen 3. Sajfutdinow 4. Lindgren 5. Vaculik 6. Janowski 7. Doyle 8. Dudek 9. Zagar 10. Iversen 11. Fricke 12. Woffinden 13. Laguta 14. Michelsen 15. Hancock/Drabik not bad at all

GP Challenge Final (Gorican) - 24/08/19
tarkens replied to JCookie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
such a poor line up this year Michelsen, Lambert and Fricke please, would hate to see any of the other riders in next year's GP -
you're wrong you can't cross the white line with both wheels, but it's fine if front wheel is on the grass and back wheel on the line or both wheels on the line, this is the rule in Poland, don't know about UK or GP but I assume it's exactly the same Laguta didn't cross the white line with both wheels therefore wasn't excluded
