  1. not true as far as i'm concerned also, rumour has it, there might be a big surprise when it comes to Wroclaw and Lublin teams
  2. According to Ireneusz Nawrocki (the weird dude responsible for Speedway Diamond Cup) Chris Holder was interested in riding in Rzeszow and he even sent his offer, but Rzeszow wasn't interested I wouldn't believe him though.
  3. Grudziadz - Lindback, Laguta, Pr Pawlicki, Buczkowski, Bjerre ZG - Pedersen, Dudek, Protasiewicz, MJJ, Vaculik + Krakowiak (u21 who rode for Gniezno last season) of course Bjerre, Pedersen, Vaculik and Krakowiak are not officially confirmed yet and won't be until November, I still have hope that one of Vaculik/Pedersen will end up in Lublin...
  4. Polish U21 star at reserve? You mean 7/15 or 8/16? 8/16 doesnt' have to be Polish or U21... 1. ??? 2. D. Lampart 3. Zengota 4. Michelsen 5. Jonsson 6. W. Lampart 7. Trofimov 8. Lambert Lambert replacing D. Lampart from the get-go. We need a strong #1, someone who's capable of winning heat 15. Unfortunately it seems like both Pedersen and Vaculik are heading to ZG, Tai likes it in Wroclaw, everyone else (Madsen, Lindgren, Doyle, Iversen etc.) is settled, so G. Laguta might be our only option. His ban will be lifted in May, so 4-5 matches in and I think there's a hefty fine on him too...
  5. some rumours from Lublin: Zengota and Michelsen - done deals, can't be officially confirmed until November Trofimov - loan deal from Leszno almost done so we have Jonsson, Lambert, Zengota, Michelsen, D. Lampart and W. Lampart, a lot of number 2/10 and 4/12 but no real leader, i hope the management will figure something out cause right it's not good enough to compete in Ekstraliga
  6. my apologies, turns out they managed to find a common ground and Lambert will be racing in Ekstraliga in 2019, here's a confirmation:
  7. oooops, i was very wrong, Lambert is staying in Lublin and will ride in Ekstraliga in 2019 confirmation -
  8. apparently Nawrocki bought the diamond for 540k zlotys so circa £110k... local businessman in this case, not politician, but i agree, it's just a matter of time before it all goes ** up
  9. i guess you don't follow speedway that closely then i'm 32, so obviously both Williams and Craven were well before my time too, I'm not even British, but come on, Peter Craven? Isn't Peter Craven Trophy pretty much the opening meeting of British season each year? it's like if they asked Harry Kane if he knew who Geoff Hurst and Jimmy Greaves were and he said 'no'. Embarrassing
  10. ok, so no confirmation... you guys might not know that, but whatever Ostafinski comes up with on SportoweFakty, is usually bullrubbish, he's the worst speedway journalist in Poland and his content is more suited for TMZ
  11. Lublin offered him a contract, various types of contracts, all to convince him to stay in Lublin, but it looks like he'll be riding in Ostrow in Nice 1 Liga in 2019, as far as I know Kuba Kepa (Lublin's sporting director) is fed up with Robert saying no to everything and decided to move on, so there'll be no more talks between Motor and Lambert. I hope they will both have a change of heart, but at the moment it looks very very unlikely. Here's my post about it from a different topic on this forum:
  12. Some Ekstraliga experience would definitely help him too, but for whatever reason he doesn't want that. Surely he's good enough to compete in Ekstraliga, maybe he wouldn't be smashing it week in week out but is already good and experienced enough to achieve 1,7-1,8. He proved it in SON and SEC... someone should really talk some sense into him. Another year in Nice 1 liga simply doesn't make sense to me.
  13. he is eligible, yes in other news, it hasn't been officially confirmed yet but Robert Lambert told Motor he's not ready for Extraleague and will be racing in Nice 1 liga next season. Motor tried everything to convince him, offered him 1-5 / 9-13 spot, as well as 8 / 16 so he can give it a shot and go to 1 liga on loan if he struggles. They tried to sign a 2-year deal with Robert and send him on loan for one season straight away, but he was having none of it either. Looks like Garcarek brothers (one of Robert's main sponsors) have some good arguments ($$$) and Robert will be racing in Ostrow next year. ungrateful bastard
  14. Smektala is 20, Kubera 19, so they have 1 and 2 more years left respectively
  15. Jonsson, D. Lampart and W. Lampart are staying in Lublin, all three officially confirmed by the club and the riders Kolodziej signed a 2-year deal with Unia Leszno - https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/780192/janusz-kolodziej-na-dwa-lata-w-fogo-unii-leszno
  16. Nicki said he won't participate in the qualifier next year and he rejected BSI's offer to be GP's 1st reserve rider. Looks like his GP career is over for good and he doesn't seem too fussed about it. 1015 heats, 336 heat wins, 64 finals, 17 wins, 3 world championships. Thanks Nicki, you'll be missed. source: https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/781599/nicki-pedersen-zegna-sie-z-grand-prix-pogodzilem-sie-z-ta-decyzja
