  1. Lambo apparently from third to first after overtaking both Andersen and Holder on one straight Cookie with a jumped start in heat 14, but race wasn't stopped
  2. http://nazywo.elka.pl for those who speak Polish or don't mind listening to speedway and not understanding the commentator
  3. Having two or even one Pole qualifying tonight means no wildcard for Drabik and I'd really like to see him in the series... but I also want to see Piotr Pawlicki there, so I guess Drabik must wait till next season
  4. 4th after Germany, France and Italy, but yeah you funded all the roads in Poland, bailed out Greece, won the II WW, etc.
  5. this year's Challenge line up is very anticlimactic, i honestly struggle to see anyone apart from Piotr Pawlicki worth adding to SGP's line up... Milik - not consistent Lindback - please god not again Lambert - too early Iversen - please god not again Smolinski - meh Bellego - definitely not good enough Bjerre - booooring Cook - see Bellego Kasprzak - i simply don't like him Andersen - not good enough Pawlicki - yes please Fricke - only if Chris Holder doesn't end up with a wildcard again Wolbert - no thanks Kolodziej - i dont think he can do much better than in 2011 Zagar - he'll probably somehow end up 7th or 8th in SGP 2018 overall anyway Holder - too early / not good enough so yeah it's not looking good (for me at least), but if I had to choose three then Pawlicki, Kasprzak and Lambert or Fricke
  6. i'm being sarcastic because every now and again I see on this forum posts like 'I wonder how'd xxx (from Poland) do on a track like Lakeside' etc. it's boring and diminishing for some great Polish riders out there like Maks Drabik
  7. I bet they'd finish 15th and 16th respectively with Lambert scoring 21pts, Bewley 19pts and your wildcard Nathan Greaves 16pts
  8. few thoughts after my first time in Cardiff 1. I was in cheap seats and couldn't see the big screen, therefore took me good two minutes to realise what's going on with the presentation 2. Poles abroad at sporting events are the worst, the local patriotism towards foreign riders wtf? Sat next to a fellow Pole who was going crazy in heat 4 when Emil caught Dudek and then got very close to Zmarzlik. Needless to say he was from Leszno... 3. Went to the fanzone outside the city hall, it was a s*** show. Never again. 4. Great stadium, decent crowd, good racing, a little bit too warm inside the stadium. 5. Terrible refereeing. Heat 4 - should be all 4 restart. Doyle should have been excluded twice, no doubts about that. He was way too slow against the Poles when Magic went down and against Lambert. Awful awful refereeing. 6. I will go back next year
  9. It'll be my first time in Cardiff in two weeks, any advice regarding the ticket? What sits are the best value for money?
  10. nope, just one from Stockholm to Gdansk on a Sunday morning, Wizzair at 07:55. his mechanics said that 'he got lost' at the airport, Cook's facing disciplinary action from Nice I liga now.
  11. i think it's the general public who vote on facebook and through the app?
  12. anyone happen to have a programme for today's meeting so I can print it out?
  13. Malgorzata Rozenek-Majdan not a big speedway fan, she's a tv host and a wife of Radoslaw Majdan, ex-Polish football international
  14. It's hard to get a good crowd in Poland on a non-league event, especially when it's long weekend with temperatures rising to 30 c degrees, lots of people are away chilling at the lakes, sea or mountains anyway, decent racing in Ostrow yesterday, surprised to see Musielak and Mroczka performing so well, I don't really rate them and still amazed that they found themselves clubs in Ekstraliga
