  1. No complaints, beaten by the better team. Workington paying the price for not having a number 1 or 5. I like antti but he's 3rd heat leader material and batch would be a good number 4. If only we had the tate of last season
  2. Cook needs to pack up now, obviously he's not comitted to racing anymore.
  3. It was good while it lasted. Great track and facilities but hardly any home meeting then gaps of 2 and 3 week just aint going to work, people quite simpley find other things to do. One big league is the only way forward, unfortunately that looks like it will be without the comets
  4. Workington have the best track In the championship if not the country although bell vue will argue that.
  5. I will also be there today as quite simpley I don't want to loose it again. I do feel for the promotion, but having said that questions do need to be answered and I would loved to know who put the team together? Batch was never a number 1, anyone with knowledge of the sport could see that. Maybe it's down to lack of experience? Young team? Young team manager? New promotion? There's a certain Mr Stonehewer who's wife is from the area, could he be tempted to take on the team manager role? Even if it was just for Home meetings? Would certainly get the best out of riders and has all the experience and knowledge
  6. Team changes needed, batchelors performances this weekend don't need mentioned. But he was never a number 1 before a wheel was turned, he went missing in the big heat 13s and 15 last season. Frazer bowes also needs replaced, the team is just to vulnerable to carry him at the moment. Also a mention about charles wright, disgusting move to totally wipe out vuolas out.
  7. And to think we could of kept craig cook who lives 10 minutes up the road..... Said it at the time an ill say it again, a massive mistake keeping batchelor
  8. On ability not much between them?? There's no contest. Going into this season with troy batchelor as number 1 had disaster written all over it. Not one of the paying workington fans should have to contribute to paying his wages tomorrow. He should be sacked tonight, blatantly shutting off an uninterested, must be the worste showing from a supposed number one and captain iv ever seen.
  9. Yeh suppose so..... Don't think either are premiership standard though
  10. Surley craig cook would of been a far better option than kerr or sedgmen
  11. This meeting shouldnof been on. Its not rained all morning and theres a warm wind
  12. Pretty much common knowledge that workington owe cookie a large amount of money for a prolonged period last season. This is a forum, where people discuss topics about speedway in general and workinfton comets. Maybe you should leave it @Neila if it offends you
