  1. I will also be there today as quite simpley I don't want to loose it again. I do feel for the promotion, but having said that questions do need to be answered and I would loved to know who put the team together? Batch was never a number 1, anyone with knowledge of the sport could see that. Maybe it's down to lack of experience? Young team? Young team manager? New promotion? There's a certain Mr Stonehewer who's wife is from the area, could he be tempted to take on the team manager role? Even if it was just for Home meetings? Would certainly get the best out of riders and has all the experience and knowledge
  2. Team changes needed, batchelors performances this weekend don't need mentioned. But he was never a number 1 before a wheel was turned, he went missing in the big heat 13s and 15 last season. Frazer bowes also needs replaced, the team is just to vulnerable to carry him at the moment. Also a mention about charles wright, disgusting move to totally wipe out vuolas out.
  3. And to think we could of kept craig cook who lives 10 minutes up the road..... Said it at the time an ill say it again, a massive mistake keeping batchelor
  4. On ability not much between them?? There's no contest. Going into this season with troy batchelor as number 1 had disaster written all over it. Not one of the paying workington fans should have to contribute to paying his wages tomorrow. He should be sacked tonight, blatantly shutting off an uninterested, must be the worste showing from a supposed number one and captain iv ever seen.
  5. Yeh suppose so..... Don't think either are premiership standard though
  6. Surley craig cook would of been a far better option than kerr or sedgmen
  7. This meeting shouldnof been on. Its not rained all morning and theres a warm wind
  8. Pretty much common knowledge that workington owe cookie a large amount of money for a prolonged period last season. This is a forum, where people discuss topics about speedway in general and workinfton comets. Maybe you should leave it @Neila if it offends you
  9. There is no doubt that cook would of been the better number 1, anyone who has any knowledge of speedway will tell you that. I think we could struggle in in heats 13 and 15 next year, especially away from home. Workington's loss is certainly berwicks gain.
  10. Still would of been a lot stronger if we'd kept cookie instead of batchelor. But Not a bad start to team building, although will be some disappointed when Jye Etheridge is announced 😕
  11. Let's hope not, we've been down the thomas jorgensen route before
  12. Cook confirmed at berwick. still can't get my head around why we would release him an keep batchelor. Absolute ludicrous decision. If the team im hearing is correct it's got disaster written all over it for the future of workington speedway
