Weather spoilt Saturday night fever...

I agree that I would prefer a second leg... my post was more about the Colts racing on a Saturday whereby there is much better chance of improved crowds... particularly if we race on Saturday next year. next year will be difficult as with the averages of our top 5 will mean at least two if not three will have to leave unless they dramatically increase the team limit for 2020. it has been marvellous to see such a young side progress during the season and watch some talented riders who look to be set for a career at the top in later years.

Big decisions in November.

The BSPA are no different now than decades ago. The promoters independently look after themselves with no vision of a long term future for the Sport as a whole. I despair for the future of the Sport -
Delighted to see the Colts are riding their play off semi final on Saturday 28th September. My first Saturday League match at Belle Vue since 1987 !!! Hopefully we will get the biggest Colts attendance this season... It would be great to have Saturday as the Colts regular home dates next year.. obviously ensuring no clashes with the SGP s.

Colts v King’s is a close call....but I give th3 Colts as slight favourites. Looking forward to the Colts Saturdaynight meeting and hopefully next year , The Colts can maximise Saturday nights as Stoke have now closed.

Sad to see Cradley tonight with essentially a two man team.....fallen from grace into despair

I have seen some great racing at Peterborough. particularly the World Cup a number of seasons ago. A tragedy if they disappear

Gutted for the Stoke supporters... Personally, I gave up on Stoke a long time ago.... complete dissatisfaction with the promoters

After 56 years of going to Speedway, I have given up on British Speedway. i have averaged 55 meetings a year during that time. i will continue to go to Belle Vue as the quality of racing and the stadium itself is outstanding -
With 56 seasons of Speedway... not easy Peter Collins for me.... also he has to be the most talented racer that I have ever seen... pure genius...

We need someone new at the helm... hope they make the right choice

Great to see some ladies racing in competitive meetings again. I was privileged to see a very talented lady racing a number of years ago. I went to a meeting in Motala..an u21 qualifying meeting. Riding that day was a Sabrina Bogh of Denmark..... really impressive and showed herself to be a talented racer. In 2001 she was crowned Danish U21 champion.... ahead of Ulrich Ostergaard who was 3rd. Definitely the best female racer I have ever seen Kurt Bogh who rode for Glasgow is either her uncle or her dad.... I can’t remember which now as it was al long time ago.

The BSPA make it up as they go along... anything goes if your face fits

Having seen the racing at Wroclaw, it begs the question as to why BSI continue to put SGP s on at poor tracks. E.g Prague is a great place to travel to but Pardubice is the best track in the Czech Republic by a long way Krsko rarely produces good racing etc For gods sake put the meetings on real race tracks

Stroll in the park for Leicester. delighted with Joe Lawlor’s score.... keep it up Joe

Excellent entertainment tonight. All of the riders should be applauded for giving us the best GP this year and one which will be difficult to match.

The only way we can have one league in today’s Speedway is to dilute the teams sufficiently to make Speedway viable for all teams. It may mean saying goodbye to any SGP riders and allowing Britain to race on the night that suits each team.

BELLE VUE COLTS V KENT THURSDAY 01/ 08
Gunner85 replied to Gunner85's topic in National League Speedway
With all the rain prior to the start, it is a massive credit to firstly the track and secondly the riders and staff for getting the meeting on.. The same happened last year with the Stoke Match. As I have said before , going to The NSS is like being in Speedway heaven. -
the Cup match provided an excellent night’s entertainment and racing . Hopefully more of the same on Thursday
