Jake Allen at reserve is a bonus... he will be a real handful if he is fully fit. I would not be surprised if it is a tough match provided the main body of the team ride well... Lawson , King , Harris and Bellego are all capable of getting good scores around the NSS. satisfied with good racing and a win

Good result for Newcastle. Excellent score from Steve. Newcastle are highly likely to go through

Pleased for Jaimon

A fantastic performance from Jordan who looks to have a fantastic future in the sport. Ben Rathbone is showing promise with two good home performances and I am sure there will be improvement during the season I thought Ben Wilson looked like going through the card until Kyle lowered his flag in heat 13. A most enjoyable meeting....

Quality entertainment irrespective of the score. We are so lucky to have the NSS as our home track. -

Good meeting with entertaining racing. Superb last bend pass by Jordan Stewart to pass Jake Allen Great to see Jack Smith get 6 points with a tough heat 12 against two heat leaders but still on pace with them. Charles Wright was immaculate. Excellent score from Danny Ayres... Look forward to my next visit -
I can only go by what I have seen in recent years..... I stand by what I have seen There are tracks I refuse to go to.... equally there are those that I have no problem going to regularly...

Sheffield was always in My top 3 British tracks. In recent years , the racing has been very disappointing in comparison to what I used to see..... indeed I now make a token 1 visit a year to see if there has been any improvement. Give me a good race track and I do not mind how far I travel to see entertaining racing.

A good win for the Aces in an entertaining meeting. Bradley Wilson Dean and Charles Wright were somewhat subdued as they normally perform well at the NSS . Dan was superb -

Shame the fixture makers did not put this fixture to a little later in the season so a fresh team had been here on the 29th rather than one seen less than a month ago. no disrespect to Peterborough just asking for a sensible fixture list -
Connor is a100% trier.... always worth a shot in any team Keeping up the family tradition...... his dad , Michael , was a good second string for Belle Vue .. grandad Bob was also a good rider.

If I have this right you used to regularly go to Hyde road on a Saturday night with your Wimbledon mates. I never thought I would say this but The NSS is better than Hyde road. This May be mistaken identity.. but I am fairly confident

Leon riding for Berwick, Kyle riding for Glasgow .... was going to this match... no chance now with this clash.

With the quality of riders combined with the best track in GB, you can guarantee top quality racing... provided the weather does not play havoc with the track. This is a must for anyone who enjoys Speedway

Delighted with the team performance... excellent debut from Jordan Palin... 11 paid 15 in his first NL match..... augurs well for the future Superb performance from Leon Flint Best display I have sent from Danny Phillips at the NSS Ben Rathbone rode well as did the other Ben ( Woodhull ) Kyle rode really well losing out in heat 13 for a maximum -

Looking forward to the Colts first NL match... especially the debut of Jordan Palin after his IOW performance on Tuesday -
Considering the ups and downs re the stadium and latterly the new track, it is no surprise.
-
I will venture to see the new track this year..... but not till later in the season when the track has had time to settle

Peterborough v Belle Vue PSC - Mon 1st April
Gunner85 replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Pleasing win..... I am sure Dan needs to settle back in at his own rate....but HE WILL GET BACK TO HIS BEST WITH THE PASSAGE OF TIME -
I see Peter Collins is 65 today according to BSPA site. What a great shame that there is such a rift between the Collins family and Belle Vue. PC is the most gifted talented rider I have ever seen. Seeing his career is the most joyous part of my 57 seasons of watching Belle Vie

See we have a slanging match going on. our new promoters come from a substantial business background and they run the club with financial matters as their priority. A Shame thar other promotions do not follow suit.....paying riders over the odds when insufficient crowds are unable to sustain such pay packets is not in the new promoters vocabulary...unlike certain promotions i back the New promoters 100%

I have a season ticket for convenience and to guarantee my seat which I have carefully chosen. The savings are there even if this year they are not as much.
