Difficult to say really, I would expect him to improve as the season progresses but may struggle to start with. Interestingly on Tuesday he said he prefers racing on big tracks as opposed to tight technical ones so will be interesting to see his progression at Monmore. Ashley Morris looks to be a great signing for Birmingham by the way.

Forgot to say CVS said on Tuesday the draft fixtures for BT sport have us on 4 times (2 home, 2 away meetings). Better than the 1 appearance last year
-
Also nice to see Becker pick up his 1st heat win, and Kyle performing well also.
-
News from last night, Jacob has said he should be back in a couple of weeks but he is under a lot of pressure to ride in Poland asap. CVS thinks he won't be fully fit until some time in June. Says he will have a tough decision to make if Scott is going well but Jacob and Scott both know the score. Luke Becker is here on a 3 year visa and CVS hopes he will be with us for the duration, Greg Hancock was instrumental in his decision to ride for us. Nick Morris is going to Poland this week for an x-ray on his arm to see how it's healing. Scott wasn't there as his daughter was taken ill. If he can't ride tonight at Birmingham Max Clegg will be riding for us, and Nathan is riding in place of Rory

Will do

Wolves have always had a good relationship with Scott, he's always been one of our preferred guests. I doubt they would get rid of him if he is doing well to be honest. We will see what is said tonight. CVS is usually quite upfront about his thoughts

Peterborough Panthers 2019

Agreed but who else is available, Cook as you say is a genuine no 1 but he's unlikely to go back cap in hand. The signing of Summers is clearly a stopgap as they must be way under the 42.5 limit -

I think Peterborough are probably holding off to see what happens with Scott Nicholls, if he is replaced by Jacob when he is fit then Scott will be available. If not then Jacob will be available. -
If Scott Nicholls starts well i wouldn't be at all surprised if he stays to be honest. Jacob or Scott will end up at Peterborough I would think.
-
Swindon look certs for the playoffs imo, would love to see a repeat of the 2017 final Sidney. Hope your team get to grips with the new track shape
-
If you think of it along different lines compared to last season you may see it differently. Nick Morris replaces Thorssell Scott Nicolls replaces Heeps / JBA Luke Becker replaces Nathan Greaves Yes Jacob is a big loss but it's only temporary and Nick Morris can be just as good around Monmore and should do well away. IMO this team looks much stronger overall than last year, no way should we finish bottom

I would imagine he was given a deadline of p & p day to sign his contract or go. -

Absolutely no chance of him riding for Wolves!!! -
It will be for more like 2 months
-
Another possibility, he is the track record holder at Monmore, but I don't think Kings Lynn would be very happy with that
-
From what I've heard Jacobs injury happened a while ago but has not healed so he now needs an operation. Therefore PA and CVS have probably known about it for some time and hopefully have been exploring their options already. Not sure Scott Nicholls is the answer. I would prefer Woffy but not sure the BSPA would allow him to come in on his old average (his presence however would be a big boost for British speedway) If not, one of the Pawlickis maybe.

Quite surprised you think the Wolves reserves are weak. Imo it's our strongest reserve pairing for a fair few years

Who has the strongest top 3 riders??

Totally agree, figures on paper mean nothing -
Who has the strongest top 3 riders??
Call me wolfie replied to ZagarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No, Wolves top 4 = 29.88 compared to 28.85 for BV However Swindon Robins top 4 = 30.43, mainly due to the massive average for Doyle of 9.8 -
Wrong, actual GSA's are used therefore Cook will start as no 1. As previously stated the 2.5% reduction is for team building purposes only, not to decide rider positions Craig Cook = 7.73 Rohan Tungate = 7.61
-
Do you really think Wolves have by far the worst reserve pairing? Ash Morris spent a chunk of last season as a second string and still had a higher average than the likes of James Shames. Luke Becker is something of an unknown quantity but I have a feeling he will be better than you suggest. The other ones that stand out like a sore thumb are Lidsey, is he really going to be the worst rider in the league!!! And James Shanes the second best no 7, really?

I don't know about that, there's been some pretty decent teams since. Wolves 2016 top five of Lindgren, Woffy, Peter Karlsson, Masters and Thorssell. It was only just over 2 years ago but sounds like someone's dream team now -
1st few days of April look fun, 1st April is press and practice, 2nd April rider talk in at the Cleveland Arms and 3rd April 1st meeting away at Birmingham in David Mason farewell meeting. Full Wolves team taking on the Brummies.

In theory nothing unless it's a choice from the top scorers from previous heats
