Ipswich vs Poole 29/08/19
Call me wolfie replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wells not in good form, got 0 at Wolves last night, a track he knows well. -
I can only assume there is a dispute over the date, looks like dates available are 12th, 16th and 19th September
-
Because he rode for Redcar last night and got a maximum 24 hours after being ruled out of Peterporough side through injury

Either buster thinks we're all stupid or he just doesn't care what we think. It's the Peterborough fans I feel sorry for, The Panthers have been used as a sacrificial lamb all season. British Speedway is rapidly becoming a laughing stock under Busters control. -

I don't agree with you on that one Steve, if Sam had ridden for BV last night and got the points that gave them something from the meeting I would be absolutely furious, and I'm pretty sure Pete and CVS would be aswell. You don't bite the hand that feeds you -

When one person has a vested interest in 3 teams in the same league, inevitably questions will be asked when a situation like this occurs. Ipswich simply had to win this meeting to stand any chance of making the playoffs. Incredible luck for Ipswich last night, almost unbelievable, this has Busters stench all over it. -

Nick scored 5+1 from 3 rides on his last visit there. Should have been more but he lost it on the final bend on one of his rides while on a 5-1 with Jacob. He looks much better recently -

Max is named in the Rospiggarna team for tonight. Rory riding for Lynn and Jacob riding in Sweden so only Sam would be available anyway -

Any idea why no date has been set for your home meeting with Wolves yet? -

Just been reading the regulations and the SCB have to give at least 4 weeks notice of the hearing date so it seems the hearing won't be until at least 16th September -

Rory will not want BV to pick up any points away, I can guarantee that -

Exactly, I always dread a last heat decider when the opposition have choice of gates -

It seems he wanted Lidsey off gate 1 even if it meant only 3 riders in the heat. Forward thinking would have seen him choose to pick gates in heat 15 as they won the toss, unless at the toss he was expecting Bjerre to be there by heat 4. Only Lemon knows what his thinking was I guess -

Good choice of guests, Schlein is good there and will be desperate for BV not to get anything from this meeting. And Aarnio has a point to prove -

I would bet that Cooks hearing will take place once Lambert is back -

Belle Vue head to Kings Lynn on Thursday, will Cooks appeal happen before then? If so then they could be without Lambert and Cook for this crunch meeting. All teams will be riding except Wolves so replacement options are limited -

Surprised no one else has mentioned heat 4. Lemon does a reserve switch leaving no one to replace Bjerre when he doesn't make it to the tapes. Poor management imo. Never the less, delighted with the win. We had to win there eventually, special mention for Kyle and Jacob who were superb. -

With Max in the team we would probably lose by around 20 points going on our previous results there. So with r/r for him I can see us maybe sneaking a consolation point. Our best chance of winning is if the track gets a good soaking a couple of hours before the meeting -
