  1. Has Ipswich team been approved by BSPA yet? Their 1-7 on BSPA site still has Damon Hume in it, despite the teams all being updated yesterday.
  2. Hope they got him at the right average or people will moan and hope Bandits have priority
  3. Bandits have Dennis and others who have been doing this stuff for decades and will be guiding the enthusiasm of the new ownders wisely so it will be approved and if it isnt will be evidence yet again of the powers that be not caring if Bandits live or die. The new BSPA have a lot to answer for in scrapping rolling averages which were brought it to stop riders getting instant averages and creating this sort of circumstance.
  4. But also could prove themselves able to stay in! Is this team approved by SCB or BSPA yet, is that why Ipwich have changed their website back?
  5. Did Ipswich jump the gun and put on Bandits hoped-for team before it got SCB approval? Berwick never release news like this until it is all dusted and done, which will be why we havent had a news letter or anything.
  6. Changes were needed to shake team up and get rid of non triers and non arrivals. Nick Morris and Jye Etheridge are Aussies and won't give up if they dont gate or disappear if they fancy a holiday at home and Lee Payne is OK replacement for injured Ryan Blacklock. All we want is a team that will keep trying to please and match everything else new promotion are doing with the track and publicity.
  7. He already had new mechanic last night, the big guy who used to be with Bomber and also David Howe. Plus his riding in last two races showed why Bandits wanted him. Also he didn't gate on Liam's bike in these races, in one he passed Kerr on last lap and in the other Palm Toft on third lap.
  8. We missed last weekend as on Easter minibreak, but last night wasn't good to come back to. Bridger had different mechanic last night and his performance on Liam's bike will show him what is needed and show Liam that the bikes can do it and will help him too. As soon as averages change the changes should be Berge and now Vissing out altho I would keep Liam. Racing and track were pretty good last night and Danny Gapp was great. If we are going back to just one presenter can't we make him Steve Hayward, as I don't think my good friend Roy who is a lovely man will ever be accepted at Shielfield. Get well soon Scott Courtney too.
  9. Yes a good solid interview and preview on the excellent Bandits website which continues to entertainand inform not least through The Dirt where you get updated blogs all through the week with George Dodds latest posting probably required reading for a few on here.
  10. Danny Phillips in on Saturday in place of unlucky Ryan Blacklock I'm told.
  11. Yeah, they're building a new Smiths for you. Maybe. Say they will, but.......
  12. Ever since September 2010 all we have cared about is getting seven riders out of Armadale in one piece.
  13. Coty is a very determined little trier who was very popular during his time at Berwick and will always give 100% effort. His bikes were always very standard and he couldn't afford better gear then although Glasgow would have helped him last year with bigger paypackets and he will be set up to go for it as a Bear, and Bandits will get a loan fee which is always handy.
  14. It was in Berwick programme two or three years ago where it said Bandits had made full transfer of Tero to Scunthorpe so unless Scunny have papped him on to somewhere else that's where he's assetted.
  15. OK but TJ isn't here and we seem to want different riders after losing a home match which is fine if we have different riders ready and willing to come to Bandits without breaking the budget and with low averages. Of course riders who have low averages have earned them and might continue to do so.
  16. The good bits were Lewis B who is a great and imaginative signing and Dany Gapp plus the fourth big crowd out of four on a nice night plus some spirited racing on a good track but the bad bits were losing, the form of Liam and Dimitri, both of who we know can do so much better and the obvious failure of having two people on the grass talking to each other not the crowd.
  17. Ryan Blacklock's average is 2.00 and Richard Hall's is 3.53 so how do you work that one out please?
  18. Max Clegg probably fortunate to be one of Monarchs mandatory two UK passports as he can only be replaced by another one.
  19. Not if the announcer clearly explains the reason for delay as most people even if they had got it for the advertised time would be quite pleased the sport was attracting a big enough attendance to have people still queueing up outside but if it happened every week the promotion should have another turnstile ready to open.
  20. Bandits at full strength I'm told but Tigers are strong enough to give them a hard time and Bandits middle order needs to turn up.
  21. Two voices in middle plus Dennis was too many and while experiment worthwhile it wasnt success so back to one and one please. Roy is a lovely man and ultra enthusiastic for Newcastle but not for Bandits please. Dennis and Steve way to go.
  22. Cracking good racing and swift movement of riders from the pits for each heat whoever is cracking the whips in there. But we only need Steve on grass surely, Roy was caught between smirking at Diamonds winning races and trying to be understood. But overall the new promotions are clearly working hard to make things better. We liked it last night.
