  1. Anyone heard what the Aussie lineup will be?, assuming Max Fricke is still injured. Wonder if we will run with 4 man team or if Jordy Stewart or Cooper Riordan will be drafted in to give us a reserve?? It seems to be a secret, cant find any info at all
  2. Well done Drabik on a very difficult track, interesting to see if he is as dominant on the smaller Gustrow circuit.
  3. Tough for Lyager after a great gate and first corner. Hopefully he can repeat.
  4. Maybe Gustrow at 298 metres might give those that ride the British tracks well an advantage, but Poznan at 370m and Pardubice 400m shouldn't offer problems for the Europeans. Big shame for Brady starting with an injury, I had thought him the pick of the Aussies on 2017 GB form, and a serious chance for top 3. Would have been good to see the young Russian Chuganov in here considering his World Cup heroics.
  5. Congrats to Aces, good choice of guests as it turned out. A profitable Belle Vue night all round, with Cookie & Max thru to the Challenge Final.
  6. Congratulations Cookie, Laguta unlucky - perhaps he gets a wildcard for the Final.
  7. Thank you for that, I've just done the time conversion for where I am in Aus, and I can probably squeeze in another glass or two of red before I park up for a 4am start in front of the PC. I'd love to see Laguta and Milik in next years GP & think they both should get through here, Dudek a likely top 3 and Cookie should get through as well. Keen to see how Max Fricke fares but thinking it's a year too soon for him for GP. Cheers
  8. Patrick Hansen should be on the short list for a WC if his mechanical/? is taken into account, its probable without that he would have had additional points to his Pardubice tally of 10 and thereby have qualified 3rd or at least been in the run off for it. I'm an Aussie and would love to see Fricke in the Finals, but 1 heat win from 5 completed rides here and he's had every chance under the system to qualify, so he made need luck or perhaps being defending champ may get him a berth. He's a better rider than 11 points in this company suggests and a big surprise to me to see his scorecard. You may be right on the Swede: even tho this is titled a World Championship, I'm not convinced that having the best 16 U21 riders is the main intention in this process, if it were - why are countries given allocations that are way above that warranted by the form/competiveness of their riders, eg France, Norway, Czech, Sweden. Poland and Denmark warrant their numbers because of strength in depth but this event often seems a benefit for the European countries/riders to me.
