  1. Haha not a very good way to go through life. Exactky, the work Andrew, Steve and the volunteers have put in is fantastic and to just pull the plug would be ridiculous. Couple of bad attendances but overall I was impressed too.
  2. Well all you bad vibers and negative Nancy’s can get back under your rocks now. Fantastic piece for the end of season on the comets socials. Team building well under way by the sounds of it and I’m excited to see who we bring in to hopefully go a couple steps further and lift some silverware in 2025.
  3. Other than the family who it happened too? When will people stop defending the holder clan. They’re all a bunch on entitled 🔔 ends, they always have been and they always will be. Jack being the worst out of the lot of them.
  4. Im in agreement with you too. Seen a few words in the programme basically saying use it or lose it. It’s not going anywhere, I’m sick of saying the same thing over and over.
  5. Jesus i thought Workington was dusty!! The back straight where I'm stood is horrendous
  6. Didn’t see the interview till after my post. Still take that with a pinch of salt.
  7. Should be mandatory these events they used to be the pinnacle years ago. Riders used to be full of pride riding in it. Now it’s just a joke.
  8. That’s what I was thinking too 😂 think the only rider missing out of 14 is Jenkins?
  9. Andrew and Steve are smart with it. There’s been a lot of new sponsors come on board this season, the majority of the season the crowds have been ok. I ain’t getting into it on here why we shut down in ‘19 but we’re a hell of a long way away from that.
  10. They won’t be dropping down. The amount of extra sponsorship that’s come in for this season, it would be a kick in the teeth. Yes crowds have been low the past couple of meetings, but I don’t know what people expect. We’re racing with half a team, and the weather will have kept a lot of people away today. I remember back to Redcar in the KO cup similar conditions and a very poor crowd. I thought the crowd was better today but when you’re chasing a deficit like that, against a team like Poole it’ll only be the diehards that are there. Cookie said he wanted to be back so there’s obviously been some talks. Do you know the real reason, or should I say, rumoured reason for the sudden shutdown?
  11. I think we will be. Considering Tate has already signed on the dotted line and been announced, somehow don’t think he’ll be in the NDL
  12. Really impressed with young Vinnie today. I seen him at Workington last season in the NDL and he’s come on leaps and bounds. Couldn’t help but applaud him for his last bend swoop in heat 8. If only some of the comets riders could of shown that fight.
  13. Just read Ashton Boughen is in now, not sure who for.
  14. Well, fair play to Poole. There’s a reason they’re hot favourites. Brennan and Ben Cook are unbelievable, can’t see them 2 back in the championship next season. Comets had a great first season back, after being wrote off by so many at the start of the season to be contesting the spoon. Injuries certainly didn’t help the cause and if Tate was fit, it makes you wonder what could have been. Never mind, onto next season and to see what team the promotion can rattle together given we’ve got time. Roll on 2025.
