So 3 weeks today and swindon first meeting and track not even laid. .Rosco in the local rag says he has faith in boss too have track ready as he has a huge experience of preparing Cardiff. Isn't that a Job of Ole Olsen to oversee and nothing too do with Terry Russell who oversees theTv. Interesting survey on Twitter showing 70% dont think track will be ready. so assuming Press day is week before first match on 11th April. The season is just 1month away... the olde toilets remain with all its inhabitants. . The back strand stand remains for the remaining few supporters . No sign of the super duper new stadium. The track remains the same with a few pegs too mark the new track. So with a month to go ronnie and his staff will sure too be battling against time to get the track ship shape. I has been intending too return too the revamped stadium with the reshaped Blunsdon circuit which I hoped was going to produce some far more exciting racing .. who was going to be paying for the track changes. The Stadium or Swindon speedway . . If as I suspect is the stadium.it shows how much commitment the have too the new stadium. Never have believed all the talk of a new stadium. I for one doubt I'll be popping down .instead I'll be nipping too Somerset too see some proper racing rather than gate and go racing

Stadium may not be swindon speedway fault. The track though was quoted in the SWINDON ADVERTISER be started in February. 3days left I know but I don't envisage it started and will predict now the track will remain as it is . . AT NO TIME DID I mention swindon speedway who I believe have a good side but need to deliver away from home. There are quite a few teams who have a strong 1_7. .

Too hot.... funnily enough I noticed on swindon greyhound fb. Bookings being taken for restaurant in March... last years press day.. new track dimensions marked in blue.. this year its progressed too pegs so it's getting there. What a complete joke. Stadium progress nil.track alterations s nil...only positive is Lee kilby being made co promoter but that doesent change sad facts ...speedway can hardly be taken seriously any more.

Tree has been cut down so no where plug in kettle. Workers used back straight bogs 3 weeks back not been seen since. Wheelbarrow being used by stadium to move new back straight grandstand.
