The tenure of Mr Chapman as the chairman of the BSPA has been nothing short of disastrous. It appears he now wants to cap the worst period of British Speedway governance with a league title win for his own club. What a fitting end it would be if his stadium was devoid of supporters and, he lost a bucket load of cash. He could watch his miserable firework display all on his own!!!

The most sensible solution is for ALL supporters to boycott BOTH meetings unless BOTH promoters agree to a solution that is in the interest of UK Speedway as a whole. The only language they will understand is one that hurts their pockets and, not ours!!!!

I agree with Mediman, perhaps we should all boycott both meetings.

Always worthwhile educating the man who purports to know everything about everything!!

It’s not for you to make the call on what should be on this forum, there are moderators for controlling that! However, it is interesting to note that you have made more than your fair share of comments on a thread that you apparently don’t approve of.

Two questions. 1/ The anniversary meeting (which didn’t happen) was included in the price of the season ticket, so it would be a good gesture to throw in tonight’s meeting, don’t you think. 2/ As one Rye House meeting didn’t take place, it’s appears the cost of the season ticket has risen by stealth. Don’t you think? The subject of the Poole v Yarmouth meeting was sold a discounted price on the night leaving season ticket holders out of pocket.

Let’s not forget the Garry May statement after the Somerset track doctoring episode, “Quote” - “Ah, this games all about Tactics” - “Unquote”. So, if he can’t doctor the track, perhaps he’s importing a few other “tactics”. Maybe we should hire in the F1 master tactician Toto Wolff for the evening!!!!

On the subject of refunds, I wonder if Matthew is minded to let season ticket holders in for free tonight as partial repayment for 1 x Cancelled 70th anniversary match and, 1 x Rye House match that failed to materialise. I guess, if he doesn’t, he could have a few creditors come the end of the season...
