  1. That will keep Chapman happy for another week
  2. Coincidence that the two worse teams in the Premiership are both owned by that moron Chapman. Says it all !
  3. Sorry mate but we are stuck with this lot. Chapman won't fork out another penny on decent riders. He doesnt give a sh**e about Peterborough speedway He needs to go now , not later !
  4. Have all tickets been sold for this event. If not where can I obtain one ?
  5. Or the fact that King wants too much per point which we all know Chapman won't even consider. He's a total arsehole and wish he would just f**k off
  6. This could be embarrassing for the Panthers but not for Chapman
  7. If what you say is correct then I for one won't be lining his pockets with anymore of my well earned cash. If he's not bothered, then I'm certainly not. Just a travesty that in our final season, Chapman has not considered the loyal supporters of this great club. We are going to the dogs led by a man who doesn't give a toss !
  8. Great Post and one that sums up British Speedway entirely. It's a sport that's been on the decline.for years and yet despite all.the warning signs it's just plodded on.until we are left with what we have now. An antiquated, unprofessional, inadequate sport that has been allowed to stagnate while blinkered promoters have done nothing to improve it
  9. I agree entirely. For the last couple of seasons since the showground closure was announced. Chapman appears to have given up entirely on the Panthers. Team building has been disappointing to say the least, but he still expects supporters to pay good money to watch average riders on a poorly prepared track. The crowds at the showground have been exceptionally good compared to some other premiership teams and I think they deserve to see better quality riders, not a team of leftovers that nobody else seemed to want this season.
  10. I've been a supporter of Peterborough Speedway since the introduction in 1970.and as much as I've enjoyed some unbelievable years and some terrific racing, I.would sooner it all come to an end now rather than.later. Pull the plug now, rather than end up as the leagues whipping boys. Management, owners all seem.to have lost interest and I honestly don't think Chapman will waste anymore of his money in trying to bolster the squad. It was never going to be a brilliant 1-7 this season as we left it far too.late in getting rider's signed up. Inevitably we've ended up with riders nobody else wanted and early results prove my point. I honestly cant see it improving so turn off the lights, lock the gates and let's all remember the good times !
  11. Should have turned all the lights out after Heat 10 and gone home
  12. It's a shame BC hasn't got the same passion and enthusiasm as most of the supporters. He's clearly given up hence such a disjointed, makeshift team of average riders just playing out the season with minimal cost to him. He certainly hasnt done himself any favours and will be forgotten long before the club is !
  13. Buster doesn't give a damn and going by that performance nor will.many fans. Embarrassing and that won't be the last performance like that before the end of the season. Why did I expect anything different!
  14. You just knew it would be a KL guest. The first of many no doubt!
  15. Don't rely on the council to grant planning permission with any sporting activities in this city. You've only got to look at the football club to realise they don't give a damn. More interested in massive distribution centres and housing developments.
  16. Yes probably, but no different to what it is at the EES
  17. As much as I want our club to survive, I can't see it financially viable over a long period of team sharing with KL. You would be relying on a small hardcore of supporters and a few neutrals and it would be running at a substantial loss. Add to the equation that of a poor team squad and you would be racing in an empty stadium. The dog track in Peterborough would only need a new track laying, everything else is there. Could the club not rent it from the dog track owners similar to what we are doing now at the showground.?
  18. Too costly i know, but its a shame the club cant be bought out and run by the supporters.
  19. It's just leaves a bitter taste. The final chapter of a great club which will probably be remembered for this seasons fiasco, rather than some of the brilliant seasons we've had the privilege of watching
  20. Transparent? The club have been the complete opposite since the end of last season. More bull shi* than Olde MacDonalds farm.
  21. What a load of Boll**** I'm sorry but the Peterborough track is probably the nearest you will get to those he rides on in Poland every week. More to this than meets the eye!
  22. If it is the final season then I can't see us bothering to sign a permanent replacement. It looks like guests to cover for NP I expect the majority of those guests will be coming from up the A47
