Yes, if the track had dirt on it! Reading between the 'lines' (pardon the pun) it sounds like (from forum posts) Sheffield set their track up for gate and go, knowing how incompetent B'ham riders are at starting?

Wasn't it ....'set-ups' after the first match v Leicester ??? The only excuse I can think of is.....'B'ham's so called TOP 3 are 'sh#te' yet again!? No desire....'meal tickets'!!! No disrespect to Flint/Rowe, but they shouldn't be peeing all over B'hams Heat Leaders....especially on a proper race track like Sheffield!

Bham didnt get battered at home last season? (one heavy defeat to Leicester in a rain affected meeting...) I'm not saying they won many....but they were all fairly close score-lines.

Kemp doesn't have the bottle/confidence/style, to be other than a good 'gater'! Having said that....he would've fitted well on B'ham's slicker than slick surface!

I don't think he was even that good! (casual/fun) I've seen faster 'kids' on our local streets causing mayhem etc....!

Track was way too slick for any sort of entertainment (regardless of the score), but its the first meeting, so have to see what the next one brings? Thank heavens for Fricke in Heat 15....the only excitement of the night! I thought Rew/Vuolas and Jonas Jeppesen showed some promise....Edwards is Edwards and will be hit and miss! As for the so called top 3? well, we can only expect them to get sorted for the next meeting....you'd have thought that they'd of had enough advice about set-ups etc.... Put some dirt on the track and see how they go from there..... Some great gating by the Leicester boys!

I think Pete's suggestion of the train might be wise? Basically, you could park a little further away from VP and get the train in....the traffic around the stadium can be slow, even when a match isnt on? The Cross City line is cheap and frequent and your car might be safer parked further away...
