  1. Just wondering what's happening with St.Andrews stadium when BCFC move to the old Wheels site? I think the discussion/suggestion for a new home/track, is most likely deemed to be futile as there aren't enough paying customers to merit the sport in the City? If Bham were to return it would be on the back of someone having money to burn that holds a passion/attachment to the Club/sport? (not a business plan etc etc etc....) Unless there was a unified collaboration of B'ham/Cradley/Wolverhampton/Coventry....(I know this has been suggested many times over, but the feedback is negative....)
  2. Don't think his list about who he does or doesn't like? It's about his experience at the Club? ( i could be wrong) To leave people off is a polite way of saying what all Brummie fans with half a brain know already! H Man has closed his chapter with dignity!
  3. Tolley is fine....he's just clueless but has money to burn....Rogers is the problem...clueless and doesn't put any money in...but he will expect you to stroke his over inflated ego and compliment him on all his hard work behind the scenes, whilst he plays Roy of the Rovers with the NDL set-up!
  4. I hope we dont have to read all the shi£e from bham fans saying hard luck etc... its the prats that have supported the current set up thats contributed to the demise of the club! Rogers has run us in to the ground...God help the next club that ends up with him!
  5. AbsOLUTE . .... OF a performance from riders wearing a red and yellow vest tonight... glad I decided not to waste my money on that shi£e!
  6. There lies Tolleys biggest mistake...his first signing should've been someone who knows how to run a speedway club....its been the blind leading the blind since he got involved!
  7. I saw an interview with Todd Wiltshire and he said the most talented riders he had ever seen was Mark Loram Joe Screen and Andrew Silver around Arena Essex… Wiltshire said the skill levels were off the charts Probably been done a million times before, but there's potential for a new thread there? Always reading about great/favourite riders, but most 'skilled', is a different subject? the above 3 mentioned were incredible to watch and rightly labelled as highly skilled, but I think there's a big difference with being skilled at just one 'trick' track i.e Arena Essex (Silver) Wolverhampton (P.K) as opposed to being 'skilled' at multiple tracks (once dialled in) i.e Loram/Screen.....adding to the latter list for me would be Olsen/Mauger/Penhall/Lee/Ermolenko etc...etc...etc...and the list goes on and on.....
  8. Can see the connection already for 2026? Tolley/Rogers/Morris....who do you think orchestrated Morris's signing at Bham before his ban? Good luck Sheffield if my prediction is correct!?
  9. Great interview....Edwards shows a lot of maturity and wisdom. Comes to something when a RS knows more about the rules than a so called promoter/TM......B'ham club officials falling in to the amateur bracket once again!
  10. Only one person responsible for Edwards not returning and that will be the clown who has ran a sh#t show season after season since he's arrived at Bham! I will never go to a meeting again if 'SAID' Clown is involved! He turned Kemp down before a wheel was turned this season!
  11. Dont worry about holes? if he can ride Perry Barr this season, he can ride anywhere! 😄
  12. Jonas has been a good signing at B'ham...a no nonsense rider that puts it on the line in every race!
  13. Cant say I blame him with the sh#te track week in week out!
  14. Cook loves riding at B'ham...I reckon he'll be there (decent payday!)
  15. Will be good to see Kildemand ride PB again....he was the best at taking the outside line (if there is one next week...)?
  16. Sorry, but I think that one is taken.....I saw a dinghy with 64 people on it pulling up for a viewing this morning!
  17. Unless 'we' make the Play-Offs !? 😆
  18. Birmingham's farewell meeting has already taken place....it was when 'Rogers' got involved! 😀
  19. If I'm right, I'm guessing that you did bend 4? I did bend 3 at the time and although I get where you're coming from re: having a beer and a chat on the terraces? I 'did' the flag, not just because I wanted to volunteer etc....I did it partly because watching the racing from the centre green is the best experience of watching speedway for me....plus it was 'free' entrance....'just being honest'!
  20. Says the 'pr#tt' who puts a bit of methanol in a riders bike and then thinks he's the clubs official sponsor! 😀
  21. Nobody is suggesting that you do away with volunteers....they're the 'un-sung' heroes of all clubs...I'm just pointing out that 45 or so (as you suggest) would have an effect on gate receipts.... I just wonder how many volunteers would pay to attend, if they wasn't volunteers? I volunteered for a few seasons and loved every minute of it until they started asking us to stay behind after the meeting to rake the track....meaning a very late finish, with a fair journey home.... Its the ones who volunteer and don't get to see the meeting (club shop staff etc...) they're the ones who deserve a pat on the back!
  22. Trouble is, there are more volunteers than paying spectators and we all know that the volunteers get to watch/see the meeting for free...I bet there's not a volunteer who pays to watch ? I'm not saying that they should pay, but if you add up how much the club would get if they did, then it would help towards the cause..... So, whilst helping to keep the club going, they're also helping towards its financial demise...
  23. Cant read too much in to that....the only rider he beat was Hume and he only scored 3 points! Hope he does well, but he's not a Joe Screen/Michael Lee......
