  1. If the Government roadmap timetable goes according to plan, I don't think there will be a need to buy advance tickets for meetings after June 21.
  2. Yes, I saw that. I was replying to the query from Rob B
  3. I think capacity is around 4,500. I vaguely remember they claimed that figure attended the re-opening meeting in 2011, and it did seem pretty full.
  4. Will there be a long trun for speedway if the product continues to be diluted?
  5. Depending on the Government's immigration policy following Brexit, EU riders may not be able to come into the Country to work, so promoters may have no choice but to look to British riders to fill their teams.
  6. There will probably be fewer Danes, Swedes etc in the British leagues from 2021 due to Brexit, thereby giving more opportunities to British riders.
  7. Strong team in my view, hopefully Morris can get back to the form of a few years ago when he was almost unbeatable round BP. Suggest riding order could be Morris, Proctor, Perks, Douglas, Howarth, Dan, Joe.
  8. According to the Eagles website Kennett is riding on Sunday.
  9. I thought I got a refund when Coventry dropped out before the season started. I seem to remember getting some cash back when I picked up the season ticket from the speedway bar at the start of the season.
  10. No idea what his average would be but Kim Nilsson would be a great No.1. He was very popular with the fans when he rode for us. Other names I would consider are Ricky Wells - I understand he is based around Doncaster so a weekly trip to Leicester might be preferable to Edinburgh. Nick Morris and Rory Schlein could be looking for championship clubs seeing as Lakeside/Rye House don't seem to be running and Ipswich have moved up. I would imagine Connor Mountain will be in one of the reserve spots and I think we would then need a 'big hitter' in the other reserve position.
  11. I don't really mind which league we are in, but I would prefer a return to Saturday night racing. I'm not sure the AGM will necessarily be the final say on league structures, points limits etc. We will still be waiting for the government's policy on EU nationals being able to work over here post Brexit. Work permits/ visas could be required in which case it's likely there will be fewer Swedes/Danes etc riding here. This in itself means a watering down of the league. On a separate note have the club said anything about 2018 season ticket holders receiving a credit on 2019 season tickets due to losing the second Rye House fixture?
  12. Presumably the availability of riders from the EU countries will depend upon the outcome of the Brexit negotiations? It may be that work permits will be required and riders will have to be of a certain standard (eg national champion) before a permit is issued.
