  1. Pirates will WIN, no need to over think these things! WINborne Road & borne to WIN I'm docking in Bournemouth this time on Wednesday again on National Express so early start in the wee hours leaving home @ 0115am. Get into Bournemouth at about 1030am. Then get the train to the land of the Pirate around 5pm. Just hope they've sorted the air con on the National Express coz last time I got off the bus I was walking like Pingu! I've still got the chafe marks from last time reet up to the congicles!
  2. Appreciate there are a couple of another scenarios. I'm just looking at the first line of scenarios. E.g Leicester could still qualify if Scunthorpe pick up one away point but then it will come down to race points. Just trying to keep it simplified to start with.
  3. Along with me Pirates I'm hoping the wee Tigers & the pesky Lions all qualify for the Jubilee Final. That would be one hell of a meeting. All looking good for all 3 to qualify. Tigers need to beat Monarchs by more than 6. Lions need Scorpions not picking up any away points. Pirates just need one win over Oxford. See you at Sheffield
  4. For the record.......it was their 2nd home meeting after opening to Scunny in the championship. Oxford no better now than they were then in terms of inconsistencies but obviously the Pirates will be fully focused to avoid any complacency.& I'd expect 2 wins for the skull & crossbones. Pirates are on the march All the best at Cowley & see you down WINborne Road Also I will be in Manchester on Monday, Best of British to Richard, Danny & Stevie in the British Final. C'mon the lads C'MON THE PIRATES #piratepride
  5. Pirates need to sign Max Perry! Not to be in the team now but a top future prospect In the meantime he can tie knots & things
  6. Glad I'm not going this year even more now but I would normally travel on the Friday.
  7. Bomber is the no.1 guest these days & as far as I know he will be there as part of the 20th celebrations being as he won one of them!
  8. The blackboard rubber often took flight during our history lessons aimed with locked on precision! For the youth of today the blackboard was the teacher's version of a laptop screen where chalk was used to write on it......hence the need of a blackboard rubber!
  9. Well said. Totally agree Worrall won heat 9 in 63.13, Lawson won heat 10 in 62.81, Cleggy won heat 11 in 62.50. Whatever happened behind him?.........he was away & gone! Wonder if the machine examiner was kinda curious?
  10. @ScottyJ I was proven right not you.......Bomber got a double figure score!
  11. Well, Boris Johnson supporters still av the same views & still support him Don't mean they're right. Cleggy won fair n square & still wud've beaten Bomber no matter wot Howarth was doing.
  12. Rubbish. With a fairly fast winning time of 62.5 Cleggy won heat 11 fair & square. I would agree with you if his time was slow. Bomber won heat 15 in a slower time of 62.81. Cleggy, keep up the good performances .....but not against me Pirates!
  13. Not long got in from the Lions Den MAX CLEGG I LOVE YOU BABY! Wot a sensational ride in heat 11, Wow! Turbo boost engaged as he blasted around the outside of bends 1 & 2 from the start and he was then head down arse up & gone into infinity & beyond! Howarth, Harris & Pijper were blitzed out of sight. Think the whole crowd were stunned, did that really just happen?! CLEGGY CLEGGY CLEGGY
  14. I'll be there with 2 Lions, will I survive the car journey with 2 hungry Lions?
  15. Well said Steve, mind u like we said to u on Wednesday are u feeling ok? All this positivity is very welcome but coming from ur good self is most unusual! Must be the heatwave sun vitmain D rays that are doing ur noggin sum good! Quick everyone while Steve is in a positive mood tell him wot drink u would like while he's at the bar
  16. Lisa u is being nawty again!!!! U need some lessons in Piracy or where's the plank????? Please stop this nonsense! Jeez
  17. Leicester to top the championship qualifying league but a couple of chinks are appearing in their armour over the last few meetings which over 2 legs in the play offs cud cost them success like last season.........& KO Cup vs me Pirates? Joe hasn't been his best at reserve away from home, Cleggy finally turned up at Scunthorpe last night & a couple of heat leader's av had mixed bag of scores. Guest Pirate Lawson kept Lions 'in it' in the early stages at Scunthorpe. Me Pirates had a similar misfiring few meetings but are now fully focused on the end game But like Middlo, Dickson will do everything to get his riders back & fully focused. Best 2 manager's in British Speedway. Looking forward to the Pirates & Lions battles for honours, always good banter between me being a Pirate & me Lions mates. Bring it On #piratepride
  18. May, "Jeez Middlo that fart of urs smells worse than the Hancock's farm used to do!" Middlo,"Yeah sorry bout that Garry. I went down the Star of Bengal before the meeting", he said while avin a gud old laugh about it.
  19. Bomber average around Leicester? Well if his average is getting double figures then I'll agree with u. Wouldn't dismiss Bomber wherever he rides, 100% commitment & entertainment........need more like him
  20. At Long Eaton there was only ever one race time needed ......'Fast Enough!'
  21. Whoops, only just looked & realised where the Games are actually being held from the information above. Would be nice to think that Brummies could get a bigger crowd with the number of extra people in the area of Birmingham city centre?......... But with the Perry Barr Travelodge charging £114 per night for a room because of the Games it doesn't encourage a speedway fan to travel & stay over. Mind u there is also a train strike on Wednesday. You can see why sadly Birmingham speedway won't be getting my admission money on this occasion. Ermmmm me balls are snookered !
