  1. Be fantastic to av Ellis back on board the Ship. He'll be on a false average as well given his Scunny performances, plus British reduction.
  2. And I get in as disabled which is £3 off. Not many clubs do a disabled scheme unless they keep it quiet like Leicester do. At Leicester the carer is free for a disabled person with the disabled person paying adult price but no where is this mentioned in their admissions. Don't know why.
  3. Lions 2019 Championship Shield Winners Championship League Winners Pirates 2021 Championship KO Cup Winners Championship League Winners I regularly attend both tracks, as well others, with Leicester being my nearest and I support Poole. The amount of success that both club's av achieved with both doing the double, either side of lockdown, is a remarkable achievement. In fact Lions cud've done the treble if it wasn't for avin to track an under strength side at Eastbourne in the KO Cup. I'd like to wish all at both clubs continued success, but don't mention the Scottish club! .....was a fine ride by Ellis Perks!
  4. Sweet Poole Pirates da da daaaa good times never seemed so good so good so good! You can't beat a bit of DOUBLE DIAMOND!
  5. Ford said "Ok we dropped down a league, so wot coz like the riders we also Doubled Up" !
  6. Middlo to his troops shouts, "At the Double, quick march!"
  7. Pirate walks in to a Scottish bar....'Mine's a Double please!'
  8. Pirate walks in to a Scottish bar....'Mine's a Double please!'
  9. Wonder when Wilbur Hancock will be coming over to at least get sum 2nd half rides in. Hope Greg recommends his lad to ride for us in the future. Also, I'd like to see Ellis Perks come back to ride if not for the Pirates then for someone else because he's a tremendous talent. And wotever happened to Josh Auty after Scunny sacked him?
  10. The Premiership certainly does need more teams but in turn that will water the top division down even more (if possible) unless sum GP boys come over or ex GP boys come back. Doyle, Zagar and Chris Holder for example.
  11. Doyle? Why are Lion's going Premiership? And have they paid him all the money they owed him. When he left Leicester he was well peed off with the way he was being treated & Hemsley still looms large in the background. Crikey do I remember Doyley's last interview after the last meeting he rode in for Leicester, ouch!
  12. Wud be a great move if possible with averages etc. The only question to answer wud be cud Middlo fit another Aussie into his house!
  13. A mate as just txt me and said Douglas possible for Pirates but like u say avin Danny & Steve it may not be possible.
  14. Interesting team and Tom is a mate of mine but depending upon how the other teams shape up it cud well be too early for him. Also I would only go with one of the Twins, which one? Depends upon how the rest of the team is built.
  15. Cheers matey Being at Poole & experiencing the fantastic atmosphere & celebrations was absolutely off the charts. Nothing beats avin the 2nd leg at home when u win. I feel for the Lions fans when you were robbed of this opportunity in 2019 when you shud've had the 2nd legs when you did the double. I attend most of the meetings at Leicester and that was a choker.
  16. Certainly not Danny King, he's converted to Piratehism!
  17. Although the Twins are progressing well I'd only go with one of them because when it came to the end having both of them, for me, proved just a step too far
  18. When it came to the crunch in the semis against us Pirates it was the Lions lower end that just cudn't mix it. Mountain or Hume alongside one of the twins would've been the way to go. My mates are Lions fans and they were very surprised, and so was I, when Mountain was released and he performed very well despite the teams he rode for ending up at the bottom of their respective leagues.
  19. Leicester is my local track so looking forward to Pirates and Lions doing battle again in 2022 no matter who rides for who. But thank you and other clubs for over looking Danyon Hume in 2021 as he proved to be a key rider for us in our double winning season Here's to 2022
  20. Av one league, with 5 riders per team. Top 4 riders av 6 programmed rides. With 2 riders getting an additional ride each in the nominated heat 15. 5th rider (reserve) 4 programmed rides. This set up will ensure more rides and more meetings also giving more rides with there being only the one league so riders will no longer need 2 teams to earn a living. Simple solution imo.
