  1. I agree with you, the pricing is too high. If both days do go ahead I think they had best have a package available to ensure Friday is well attended.
  2. They should know but the delay, and lack of communication regarding ticket sale date and cost, does make me wonder if there are things going on in the background as per other rumours (i.e Switching weekends with Gorzow or cancellation of the Friday night). Anyway, I'm basing my costings on the SoN event last year and the cheapest grandstand ticket was £85.00 for the final so I'm looking at roughly £170.00 this time.
  3. I couldn't find them in the emails I received so I logged back into https://kstorun.kupbilety.pl/ and downloaded the PDF's from there.
  4. That crossed my mind too. I'm not a fan but he rides Armadale incredibly well and might be the best we can get.
  5. Riga tickets are no trouble at all. Wroclaw tickets, for the main stand, sell very quickly (days, not hours). The back-straight take a bit longer and the standing tickets (corners) are last to go. But don't hang about. It's a lovely city, great stadium and you'll hopefully see a cracking meeting. Enjoy.
  6. I agree with all you say. However, we don't have the finances to build a good team anymore. Plus a lot of 'upper end' riders might deem us as too far up north. We've been so lucky recently with Cook, Masters, Pickering but I don't see that happening now.
  7. No-one likes a postponement but I was hoping you'd come back with something positive to add. Any thoughts for the fans who travelled from Scunthorpe? Any thoughts on the tweet showing the track in great condition....yet, despite knowing the forecast, announced it was all fine. You've all commented prior, but despite being visable on the forum since have yet to comment.
  8. The Monarchs posted a photo showing the track in great condition. I'm very surprised as the weather has been awful, but delighted especially as Sam is back. https://x.com/EdinMonarchs/status/1793961845146914996?t=p3UvD9DbFQxaENGQfR-01Q&s=19
  9. It's a superb track, arguably the best in the UK, and produces fantastic racing. I love going there for meetings.
  10. Was there, or has there been, an announcement for next year's date?
  11. Me too. I thought he would be an excellent signing and last season he was fantastic for Berwick at Armadale. He seems to gate ok but doesn't have the speed.
  12. It's always great to hear stories like this. Have a great time in Wroclaw.
  13. Well done Plymouth, some fantastic performances. Always good to see some travelling fans and glad they enjoyed it.
  14. Or if you don't know the answer you can refrain from posting.
  15. Cracking night, obviously. But why is there an additional heat? Clearly I don't know the rules so can someone explain.
  16. Definitely the away performances have been great so far. I should be more positive, you are right. Hopefully a fun season ahead.
  17. Your scepticism is justified. Josh misses the gate same as always and at Armadale that's a real issue, Lasse hits the fence a lot, Kye is inconsistent, Paco....is Paco, Justin is 'new', Connor can gate better than Bastian but is that enough.. and Max is great and I want to see his progression. In summary we aren't better than last season. But as long as there is good racing I don't mind at all.
  18. Kye is just inconsistent. He'll win a heat you least expect then miss the gate and be way off the pace in others. Personally, I'm glad he's back with us as I'm eternally hopeful he'll get that consistency.
