Still raining here in alwalton. I’ve seen speedway called off with less rainfall than this before

I’m literally half a mile from showground and it’s been lightly raining for the last few hours. Not sure how much rain the track will take but I’m sure buster is there this afternoon trying his best

Premiership again, will probably be he same 7 teams, I asked buster last night about getting more teams in the top tier and he said non of them would want to come up, and there is not enough riders in the uk to have more teams in the prem. why ride in England when you can make more money in Europe.

I have seen this too, however Peterborough will be running next year so we know we have at least one more season of speedway to look forward to !

Simon lambert coming in on 3.00 average and cook coming in to replace Riss. Riss reckons he will be back on a bike by next weekend as he’s planning to race in Germany. Maybe proctor might have to go.

And to be fair to him. Last time he rode at Peterborough he got paid 10 I think ? He obviously likes it there

I’ve been told that Andersen has been sacked already but they have asked him to ride at pboro on Monday anayway if I was him I would tell them to pi** off !

I know he probably won’t close the grandstand but he was in the pits last night saying that they can’t use the full stand anyway as they can’t get enough health and safety stewards. If not using the stand makes it more worth while for buster in sense that he might break even per meeting rather thank keep making a loss we might at least see speedway at Peterborough for a few more seasons. Maybe if the stand wasn’t used the cost to use the show ground might decrease. I don’t know how it all works.

Best meeting I’ve seen at the show ground for a long time, this is the hans that buster paid for and we all want to see ! However I have been told that buster isn’t making any money running Peterborough speedway. Think he made a loss tonight. Could see them closing the grandstand or something so it doesn’t cost as much per meeting to run. Don’t they charge extra to sit in the stand at Lynn ?

The racing at pboro is half as exciting as it used to be. I hope I’m wrong but I think Bates might struggle in the same way Ben Barker did purely because the racing line is round the inside. Riders that go out searching for grip near the fence end up going backwards. It’s gate and go at the minute

I see Bates tweeted yesterday that he had been practicing at Leicester and going really well. Then blew and engine on his last outing. Just what you need on the eve of your return to prem racing. I hope he has a quick engine on his spare bike

Ellis Perks just posted on instagram basically confirming he’s signed for a prem club. Big news coming later. Can only assume it will be at reserve for Lynn ?

I’m less than a mile from the show ground and it’s raining. Albeit only a little. There’s not much wind about to dry the track out though. Don’t know how well it drains round there

Doubt this will be on. Pissing it down all day today and more rain tomorrow :( fingers crossed though

I’ve been lucky enough to be able to have pit access for the last two seasons now and watching the team this year there is not enthusiasm in the pits, when they are not racing the lads just seem to be sat in their bay not taking to each other. They rarely get up and see what’s happening to the track or help each other out. It’s a very weird atmosphere for a “team”. Compare that to last year in the championship when things were going good for the team. Everyone looked like they wanted to be there, all working with each other and talking riding lines etc. I must admit Ged played a key part in that and ulrich as well. Something needs to change soon or this team is not going to get anywhere near to top 4.

I was in the pits at the kings Lynn meeting last week and I was stood right next to buster when he called Robert Lambert over and asked him if the track is ok for him and should it be watered again etc. The track used to be prepped for the home side but buster clearly wanted it to benefits the kings Lynn team.

Neil’s didn’t say no when asked if he was going to sign! Just a little smile

Neil’s was at the show ground this afternoon. Saw him in conversation with buster for quite some time and another fan asked him if he was going to ride for panthers and he just smiled and said he would need a few weeks to get some bikes over here. Let’s just say he didn’t say no
