  1. Hmmm..... Or an Italian? 18.6.1 Riders new to Premier League racing are categorised as follows: Cat 1: Riders with an “end of the previous season’s published average” in the Polish Ekstraliga or the Swedish Elitserien of above 6.00 points and a Rider subject to a Certificate of Sponsorship Cat 2: Riders with an “end of the previous season’s published average” in the Polish Ekstraliga or Swedish Elitserien of 6.00 and below plus ALL other Riders riding currently in any Professional Speedway League, Cat 3a: Riders not riding in a Professional Speedway League Cat 3b: Commonwealth or USA (to a maximum of 4 each season) Riders new to British Speedway Cat 4: Riders who have ridden in the National Development League as an Amateur 18.6.2 The Assessed MA's for new Riders to the PL racing is: Cat 1 8.00 Cat 2 7.00 Cat 3a 5.00 Cat 3b 7.00 Cat 4 3.00 What about "special dispensation"?
  2. Obviously if not enjoying it then its a vicious circle, plus he has his fireman career. Interesting if he still spanners for King....
  3. 42.70 for July but currently 42.97, but Hawkins is 4.50 of that at present so would lose 0.47 if made 2 changes! What did Jari Makinen finish on?
  4. But if you make 2 changes then we have to be under the 42.50 limit!
  5. Ashley Morris? Or Joe Jacobs on comeback?
  6. Rolling aves for July: King 9.45 Covatti 7.07 Tungate 6.96 Heeps 6.23 Manzares 5.56 Nielsen 3.91 Hawkins 3.56 Interesting to note for Manzares to reach his 7 ave (bored sunday afternoon) there are 13 matches to end of season, so the last 7 count towards his final ave. scored 48 from 36 5.33 assuming he rides in all 13 remaining fixtures and has 4 rides, thats 52 rides. 52 + 36 = 88 rides in total. pts / ride (* 4) = cma pts / rides = 1.75 as we know rides and cma ? / 88 =1.75 or 88 *1.75 = pts 154 So Gino has already scored 48 from his first 7 matches... leaving 106 pts from his remaining 13 or 8.16 points per match! Gonna be hard and not helped by riding at 2!
  7. Black and red cap.... those Tiger colours so even more undercover today!
  8. Ah i see hes not effective until the 22nd!! Seen he got good form at Worky... 3 pts from 5 last year! up the Witches
  9. Hmm 2 things: 18.11.2 A Rider may ride as a Guest (in an Official Meeting) at a Track only once in an 8-day period unless he is replacing the Home Teams #1 or is a NL Rider guesting for the Home Team. How come Covatti guested for Rye House on the 13th June? 18.11.3 The Guest must be in a current Team Declaration and have an MA that is the same or lower than that of the absent Rider. If a replacement EL Rider also has a current PL MA then the higher of the MA’s will dictate the eligibility. How can Konopka guest tonight as no longer in a Teams Declaration? Special dispensation??
  10. But even them (us) are turning their backs now.....
  11. Track looked rubbish tbh. Slick and in desperate need for more water early on. Also looked bumpy in the corners. But was same for both sides....
  12. Somersets team manager got them that draw. Good use of reserve switches.... whereas Hilton same rr in every match! Witches couldn't gate. Rebels could. Rebels won meeting after the interval 16-8 the score... Witches better than last week... but wish I hadn't bothered. .. none next week phew!
  13. 24-5-2012 Ipswich 48 Somerset 42 - Doyle 13+2 max 17-7-2012 Ipswich 51 Somerset 39 - Doyle 15 max 11-4-2013 Ipswich 51 Somerset 44 - Doyle 15 (6) 16-3-2013 Ipswich 50 Somerset 43 - Doyle 17(6)
  14. Was told that one of the injured was the trackman Bob Ellis, so that was confirmed then.
  15. Jokesport from top to bottom.... why should tv bend over backwards to replace other events that will be on? Imagine if you are a fan of the Le Mans 24 hours and switch on quest or eurosport only to find its replaced by speedway!
  16. Personally apart from King and Covatti you could replace any of the other 5. But like Bruv has said don't think there are any "like for like" replacements. Maybe yesterday's threat of replacement did the trick after the Peterborough result. It's Somerset this week so if they lose again at home then yes changes should he made as for whatever reason the Rebels are shocking at Foxhall!
  17. How dare he.... Wasn't The van big enough to fit in Lambert's aswell? 😉
  18. Will the non appearence of the Laguta brothers mean more will goto Foxhall?
  19. Easier for GB now then to get a rostrum tonight!
