  1. Updates are great for those not there but seems a lot of teams have twitter updates which are also great and just as accessible. Ill check both tbh. Must be a pain for the updater when meeting going along at a fair pace.
  2. But when the Peterborough riders didn't gate they weren't much better! Yes it sorted the men from the boys possibly but I couldn't watch a meeting like that every week. Strange that when Ostergaard came off then some track grading was done. .. too Little too late! King loves that track, remember him in the swc against Gollob a few years back?
  3. Would even find that hard to do! God job we got King! 👍 But if I were a Peterborough fan I would struggle to turn up every week if this is what it's like.... Don't think Ostergaard would agree after heat 13..... but yeah we are $/#@
  4. Thing is if away clubs did offer a reduction for other season tickets then a lot more may be bought in the first place! Personally I've never had a season ticket but if there was an incentive to do so then i would...
  5. I heard it was off *NerNerNerNerNer! so went straight home instead of travelliing up the A14! But yes the PA System is poor! It was mentioned on twitter by some... (including me at 15.48 ) but strange that the offical website and twitter feeds have been "dead" for days!
  6. Especially with Swindon saying all day it would be on! Pi$$es the fans off and the riders can't be too happy either!
  7. Didn't think Heeps or Tungate looked too happy at the end tbh. King was quick but the others all looked down on speed, Only real difference was that the Witches were gating better. Heat 1 was a strange one, thought King was going but apparently there was a problem with tapes. Didn't look much wrong with King's gate in heat 6, just he being the EL rider was much sharper. Heat 7 should have been brought back but ref had a frozen moment. Garrity is a "bit" crazy isn't he and one of those riders that fans would love to have in their teams but not in the opposition! Heat 11 saw 3 riders fall, and the ref i think stated he didn't see exactly what happened to them so gave benefit... Looked as though Tungate picked up on his own whilst Bowen and Blackbird clashed behind him. Covatti looked a different rider in 14 when riding the correct wide line on his number 1 bike! A wins a win, lets move on to next week...... Maybe when he clashed with Garrity down the home straight of heat 3 his wrist was jarred?
  8. I noticed that too so cant be too bad?....... also hearing that Ipswich speedway will be asking for help for replacement air fence panels.....
  9. Manzares was very lucky when Garrity turned a sharp left into 3rd bend, and straighten the Witches rider up. Couls easily ended with them both being locked together. Not a bad meeting and better than normal Good Friday meetings. King was the stand out rider and others (Tungate and Palm Toft) scored good points but how?
  10. Last week the meeting was called off 5 hours before with blue skies and sun out! No chance of any speedway this week with current weather and forecast!
  11. Belle Vue v Wolves is off.... does that mean Nielsen will ride in both meetings now?
  12. 50% chance of rain all day for both Ipswich and Peterborough.... thats what ive just seen.
  13. What channels are the Polish speedway on this year? still tvp for PLZ? Also is the Swedish league on Eurosport , if not will it be on C More again?4 Thanks
  14. Taken from ipswich website: With the added impact of a busy fixture list & riders required by their Elite League clubs both teams will require guests for both meetings. On Friday afternoon Ipswich will definitely be missing Stefan Nielsen (Belle Vue) who is replaced by Luke Bowen (Rye House) and possibly skipper Ritchie Hawkins, who will decide nearer the time if he is fit to ride. Peterborough will be missing Robert Lambert (King's Lynn), replacement tbc. In the evening Stefan Nielsen will be back for Ipswich but Danny Kiny King will be missing (Coventry), his replacement is Kevin Doolan. Robert Lambert will be back for Peterborough but they will then be missing Simon Lambert (Leicester), replacement tbc. haha clear as mud! So looks like Peterborough get priority over Blackbird then?
  15. Teams are subject to change: 1.45pm start @ Ipswich Ipswich Danny King 8.84 Ritchie Hawkins 5.27 (injured) Gino Manzares 6.02 Cameron Heeps 5.38 Rohan Tungate 8.36 Stefan Nielsen 4.34 (@ Belle Vue) Nico Covatti 4.19 Peterborough Olly Allen 8.93 (injured) Michael Palm Toft 4.92 Lewis Blackbird 6.32 (@ Belle Vue) Robert Lambert 7.26 (@ Kings Lynn) Ulrich Ostergaard 8.00 Oliver Greenwood 3.04 Simon Lambert 3.73 (*) 7.30pm Start @ Peterborough Peterborough Olly Allen 8.93 (injured) Michael Palm Toft 4.92 Lewis Blackbird 6.32 (*) Robert Lambert 7.26 (*) Ulrich Ostergaard 8.00 Oliver Greenwood 3.04 Simon Lambert 3.73 (@Coventry) Ipswich Danny King 8.84 (@ Coventry) Kevin Doolan Ritchie Hawkins 5.27 (injured) Gino Manzares 6.02 Cameron Heeps 5.38 Rohan Tungate 8.36 Stefan Nielsen 4.34 (*) Nico Covatti 4.19 (*) has fixture on same day but may ride) Guests will have to come from Berwick, Newcastle, Rye House, Scunthorpe or Workington
  16. So Berwick, Newcastle, Rye House, Scunthorpe, Workington are the PL teams not riding.... take your pick Belle Vue/ Wolves and Lakeside/ Kings Lynn are morning meetings so riders from those could be considered for the match at Peterborough. Means that Nielsen, R Lambert and Blackbird could ride in evening fixture.
  17. yes, dont forget we need a guest for Nielsen too.....
  18. Wells will probably now line up against us! As for Doolan at Peterborough 8 from 6 in 2014 and 2+1 from 4 in 2013.....
  19. Apparently Kevin Doolan is now guesting for the Witches at Peterborough... Thought we had Ricky Wells?
  20. Neither Pawlicki or Lebedevs were using a spolier in their rear wheels, thought one had to be used nowadays?
  21. Its that predicted rain that is the worse!
