  1. Would be very happy with them 5 mentioned. Then all it would be is finding a reliable 3 and 4. Or potentially going big on a 3 and another gamble at 4. worked for Poole in the past having a big 1 3 5. Cairns and Rushen will be an exciting reserve partnership but both will be capable of 0, 0, 0. Hagon on a 3.33 would be on my radar, I wonder if he’s doing Australia again once he recovers from his injury
  2. Kevin Juhl Pedersen announced to be in the Blue Ribband event, be interesting to see how he goes, maybe with an eye to bring him on board for next season should he perform well and stars align, potentially fixture clashes with him being Danish but the pirates do have a history of Danes in their side
  3. Certainly capable of getting heat advantages in the next 4. But anything could happen.
  4. I didn’t think that was an exclusion. I thought that was just a warning, I thought it had to be bike touch the tapes to be excluded. I’m sure that was the rule a few years ago. But maybe my memory is letting me down
  5. Yep, a nice over take from cairns on an experienced rider and he rightly gives the big crowd something to cheer, and there’s someone on here calling a 16yr old kid a clown. Comical
  6. If Poole click they could grab a good lead, but no room for passengers. It could all hinge on which Hagon turns up. Kerrs been steadily improving all season but consistent bike issues and horrid luck(Plymouth) have held him back. if Lawson has the beating of Masters and one of Zach and Kerr go well Poole might get to 50
  7. Why would Kerr get up on first corner bunching?
  8. Feel for the pirates, few shocking decisions and they end up some how losing on the night. glad all riders appear to have gotten away injury free. Id have gone Kerr over Thompson in heat 15. The form of Zach and Anders is a worry
  9. Don’t think this ref likes Kerr, he’s been excluded twice and done nothing wrong in either of them
  10. I’m surprised that’s Kerr excluded, didn’t think he did too much wrong, fredriksen went into the back of Joe. Nasty crash for all 3 and hope all are fine to continue
  11. Will Cairns is doing fantastic for Poole. He came in on 2 and has already doubled that. It takes some 2pointers years to do that. I’ve not seen any actual Poole fan say they aren’t impressed with him, although I’ve seen a few too many say that they’ve seen Poole fans say that, strange! Pooles issue is Thompson is incredibly hit and miss, last year it was Thompsons form in the playoffs that probably sealed his return, he does seem to ride better the brighter the light shines so maybe we can expect that again, the other factor is Starke, yes he’s doing his job but as a fan it’s not riders like Starke that make me want to attend a meeting, it’s your triers like Foord Hagon and even Ritchings.
  12. I think that will be Zack’s undoing. Personally as much as I like him I wouldn’t sign him on a 7.59. Not enough scope in that average to improve. If it was under 7 I’d almost class him as a no brainer, but anything above would scare me off, but luckily I don’t pick the team
  13. Lawson Rowe and Zach should score you near 30 each week, that 4th rider would be so pivotal as it would need to be a rider who can consistently chip in with 5 or so points. then you’ve got the 3 young guns in Cairns Rushen and Bailey who 2 of which have spent all of this season being by far the best 2 riders in the NDL. let’s wait and see how watered down the league is this time!
  14. 4.15- 2.5% he’s entitled to takes him to a 4.05, which I’d say is a fair reflection of his early start to championship life, still meetings to go so tough to know for sure what final figures will look like, but I expect Cairns Lawson Rowe to be back, Rushen heavily rumoured and you’d always expect Zach to be back. Beau would be an exciting talent but no doubt every team in the league would probably take him
  15. Would Beau come in on a 4 or a 5? with Lawson who’s average will be above 9 Rowe will be around 8 and then Cairns who might be close to 4 Bailey also a 4/5 and Rushen on a 2. Would be an exciting start to the team building. I expect Zach to return as I don’t see him making the same step than Ben did. Lawson 9.2 Approx rowe 8 Approx cairns 4 Approx Bailey 4 or 5? Rushen 2 = 28ish would leave potentially 12 points for the final 2 spots, plenty of room to go big with a 8 pointer or strength in depth
