  1. Quite a lot to be honest. Bournemouth FC will have a much bigger stadium and with a huge increase of games on Thursday nights people who will want to attend both the football and the speedway will have a choice to make as the price and time to attend both will be a challenge. Lucky that Bmouth aren’t in the champions league as then they would have games on a Wednesday.
  2. I would hope that the replacement is lined up? Maybe just delaying the announcement for media coverage or maybe the rider can’t start for a few weeks?…
  3. I think Beau would potentially deem himself too good for Championship next season? unless he does Chanpionship and the prem. Beau would be my first choice, then maybe Toby if 100%? Or a new rider is always exciting
  4. Have to agree. But should certainly do it next season
  5. Will need a guest from now on I think until Bowes returns
  6. If there was something riding on it I reckon they would’ve
  7. The best result Edinburgh would get vs Poole would be a win by 8/10. And then at Poole, I’d be surprised if Edinburgh got to 38
  8. Was surprised at how poor Paco was, is he still struggling being in the prem?
  9. Disappointing to lose in the last heat but a great meeting, enjoyed the stream throughly. Great result for Edinburgh and a good result for Poole.
  10. Although Zach isn’t as good as Lawson or Masters, I think it’s more of a case that he’s younger and has aspirations to try and make it further in the sport, like his Brother, and then riders like Basso Brennan Nagel and many other riders who left the champ despite never hitting a 9 average. I still firmly believe Zach is riding at about 75%, and come the playoffs he will find that extra gear like last year
  11. Maybe someone from abroad who wants a month of meetings or the more likely option will be for guests I think, chance for Gilkes perhaps
  12. Apparently not, as I can’t see where he blames Oxford either
  13. Got to feel for Bowes, a good win in his first heat, going up the inside of Masters down the back straight, a little untidy but a good win. Before making a good gate and leading for 3 laps before what seemed to be a nasty off. Could’ve been 6/6 but instead on way to hospital.
  14. Young lad who could ride the airfence and beat anyone when on it. His form did fall of a cliff once the move up but as he’s a treble winning Pirate I’d certainly welcome him back, on the right average
  15. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing when he first rode for Poole. Was riding at 6, and felt like he was beating everyone, including Sam Masters. And then moved to number 2 and confidence deserted him and he hardly scored a point. Shame as I would always welcome him back to Poole
  16. Going on last year Zach seems to ride well within himself until the business end of the season. Imo there’s no such thing as too good for the championship, masters has been ‘too good’ for it for years, but he isn’t interested in testing himself like Douglas, Ben Cook, and many many others. That’s not a dig at Masters, as I said hes probably been the best rider in the championship for many years now.
  17. How did he look? Was he on the pace? Quick out the gate? Poole will likely need a new 2 point rider for next season
  18. Hopefully it all clicks when he returns. If he can start scoring like he can then we will really walk the league. it’s very close to who will be at reserve for Poole next month, it’s close between Cairns Kyle and Fraser, currently Cairns and Kyle will stay/ drop
  19. My biggest worry when we dropped down was missing the big names like Holders and Doyle at the time they dropped. I didn’t like the fact that we dropped down, hugely against it. But from season 1 in the championship I’ve never looked back. Especially with the state of the premiership
  20. Luke Killeen had a fall and was then collected by Ritchings, Luke after being with the medics was up and about seemingly ok
  21. As much as I miss Ben being in the Poole team, he was too good for this level, riding in the polish top league and capable of being unbeatable on his day, he’s not too far of GP standard and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him in them in a few years. If we were to make the step up to the premiership, I’d like to think he’d be first name on the team sheet
  22. It was announced that Riss was extremely close to returning a week or two ago. So I’d assume he’s back anytime now
  23. Level down the straight and then went across Zach, clipped him going into the corner and then hit him again, Anders certainly the cause of the stoppage
