Yeah. I have seen the complete results. What was the reason for them closing down ?. That is what i have never found out.

He is waiting for a phone call from a bigger Club. He deserves to get his chance in the Premiership for his ability,entertainment and attitude.

I have tried doing research on the Wigan Speedway team. I have found it very hard to get any from local places. All via the internet which my daughter got(i am not with it technology wise). Older people i have asked did not have a clue. Some said, Oh it might have been at Seven sisters. Wrong. They had a stadium that shows loads watching. And the one point that i love, they were called Warriors. Which means they beat the Rugby League team to that name. I suspect it as always been a minority Sport. It should not be. It is impossible for there to be a completely boring meeting. Stick to what i have always thought- Enough is not being done by MOST Clubs.

His stats are great. Suppose he hasnt had the mentions. Will not be enough for his teams succedd though to answer the the thread question.

Was looking forward to that. On Premier they are doing a repeat of last weeks action. It was good but i am not watching it again.

Promotion of our Sport does not exist imo. A person follows it because a member of their family does. Or they stumble across it. I have only ever lived in Bolton and Wigan and i ever never heard/seen anything advertising Speedway. Yet these 2 Towns have one of the biggest Clubs and the best track in the World so near. Belle Vue of course. More needs to be done. We are the fans now. What about the future ones ?. As it stands they will be with their techno gadgets. If they do get up off their backsides and take up a Sport it will be only football.

i think i have said some of this before but, I spent ages getting the Star from Tesco-Hindley. There was always the odd week in so many that they did not have it. So i would wait til i or 1 of my family were going into Leigh and get it from their Tesco. They are a tad unreliable too. This last number of weeks i have been getting it from what was a family business in Leigh called Cannings which merged into a WH Smiths. They have been brilliant at getting it so far. I NEVER miss a issue. In the past i have had to chase it. Mrs will not let me subscribe. In fact i am sure she has preferred it when i have had trouble getting it. Gives her more going shopping time. I have noticed whsmiths in Bolton and Wigan do not stock it. Oh and the Asda near Bolton Wanderers stadium had loads of Stars when we went there. Yes i have been on the lookout.

Peterborough will come again. I am sure.

Well beaten. The so called best 2 riders we have are just not doing it right now. Away form is pathetic. At least we are on our own track next. Although i am not exactly confident about that one either.

This can always happen at any Sport event. When it does it isnt great. There was trouble in a Super League(Rugby) match yesterday too. Thankfully incidents like this in Speedway are rare. It will be dealt with. The worst part is that kids witnessed it. But even there, Adults at football matches are clearly gesturing all sorts and coming out with every swear word possible. Its nowt.

Every heat was exciting. You just did not know whether to watch the first 2 or the battle for 3rd. It was absolute drama. I wasnt happy with my faves though. Max is off it right now. Tai just needed to be back in action. The atmosphere was great. As for the coverage i think the commentary is better than what it is like in any other Sport. And it was staying on air for quite a long time after. Normally i am glued. I had to do a couple of things so i switched off straight after the final.

NBJ scores well we win if not maybe a point. Not enjoying my Speedway at the moment.

i think the prices to watch Speedway are very reasonable. Compared to the other Sports i have recently attended. A few examples, Football way ott. Rugby League at Super League level, 26 quid i think it was at Warrington. 16 to stand at Leigh in the Championship. What we pay at Belle Vue is very fair. I have not been this year but the Colts meetings are a tenner. To watch the real top riders, 25 quid would also be a bargain.

If meetings at Stoke or Sheffield started at that time it would really suit me and i would make the effort and get to some. I rely on public transport. Anyway Redcar v Eastbourne.....

From what i know it will be Leicester who will come out on top in this one. Got a lot of quality in them.

I thought it was a good thing. Even just for the fact it is getting extra Speedway on the telly. Now for obvious reasons i have changed my mind.

Wish i had known about the coverage on EMTV. Especially if it was live.

And then if the one big league happens what will the designated meetings nights be ?. We are Mon/Thurs now. That suits most riders so that they can ride for their 2nd team. But surely when there is a meeting on the tv there should be nobody else in action. Sort of feels impossible to do that though.
