  1. If you read the site it says you can pre-order and they will be despatched from 30th November. The DVD hasn't been released yet so it can hardly sell out.
  2. He'll also be riding at Reading next Monday (October 22) in the Denny Pyeatt Memorial Trophy meeting.
  3. This doesn't surprise me at all. Crumpy gets some unjust stick on here, but in my experience he is top man. A great sportsman and a gentleman. A credit to the sport. Also a very nice gesture with Greg and Jason putting Bomber on their shoulders on the rostrum They looked just as pleased as the rest of us that Bomber had one. Normally I would be gutted that Jason and / or Greg got beat in the final, but I'll make an exception this time. Nice one Bomber!! Also thanks to BSI for putting on an excellent show.
  4. Can someone help with the result of yesterday's Czech Republic Final? We think we've found it here, but result doesn't make sense as it lists Ales Dryml as having scored 12 points, but his score actually adds up to 13. http://www.speedwaya-z.cz/view.php?cisloclanku=2005092503 Was there a final, or a run-off for 3rd place?
  5. What time is the meeting today? Anyone know of any live updates?
  6. Thanks Jimmy. There was a posting on Reading's forum last night saying it is on the 20th August.
  7. Thanks for the results. Can you tell me where and when the final is?
  8. Really enjoyed the day, but was spoilt by the ref making the world championship an anti-climax. Excellent crowd with a superb atmosphere. Biggest crowd yet by far. Nice to see so many Reading fans in attendance for a change, and most wearing Racers colours. Also nice to meet up and chat with Gemini and Pawprint.
  9. Totally agree 100% with you Dave. Can't see what Jason did wrong on or off track (final race excepted), but some people will pick up on anything to vent their unfounded biased rubbish. Sorry I didn't get into see you in the Fayre, but we got up to the stadium later than we intended, and after that I was so tired I had to go and sit in the pub.
  10. Once again an excellent read - particularly the Ivan Mauger interview.
  11. I'd be interested in a full set from 1973.
  12. Jason Bunyan has successfully defended his NZ title in Gisborne tonight with a 15 point maximum (old 16 rider, 20 heat format) from Glen Phillips and Attila Stefani beat Sam Taylor in a run off for third. Lukas Dryml blew an engine on the line in his first race which pretty much put paid to his chances.
  13. What's with the Aussie and USA flag then Tash - who you got your eye on then?
  14. Well deserved - he'll make a great champion. I'm well happy. CONGRATULATIONS JASON.
  15. Nice to met Tony Mac at Reading last night. Having picked up a copy of the new edition of the magazine, I have to say the articles on Anders Michanek are superb!! The bits I've read so far I have to say Anders comes over as really laid back, and was certainly not a prima-dona. To read that he never wanted to retain his world title in 1975 is incredible, and how he frowned upon the ref for letting him have good starts at Reading one night after the same ref excluded him at Wembley (v Peter Collins) in 1973 is amazing. In an age we currently live in where everyone seems to be quite happy to cheat, Anders is a breath of fresh air. He's even more of a hero now than he already was. Well done to all concerned for a great magazine!!
  16. Excuse the French, but this is f****** brilliant news. What an excellent magazine you are all producing.
  17. Does anyone have a glossy colour photograph of Anders Michanek in action they can scan (high quality) and email to me? Preferbly in a Reading race jacket, and the more recent the better - otherwise take whatever you have. I have black and white photos, but no colour.
