  1. Ulle's form is a huge concern, struggled again for Peterborough last night. Hopefully as no need for power at the dump won't be as evident tonight but he'll be needed on Saturday
  2. Read again and was in answer as to why the Sunday staging wasn't then reverted to. What's that to do with rawicz
  3. It's funny, I used to quite like Poole in the elite league days. Tony Rick, mark loram, Noddy and Darcy some of my favourite riders to watch, obviously oblivious to whatever rule bending went on at that time. I'd say there's a few fans have a superiority complex I guess, but it's a good wee rivalry got with ourselves and the pie rats. Look forward to the meetings and hopefully get one over on them this season
  4. You did not so long ago, "you'd need to ask the home club". Read between the lines of the statement too pretty obvious who it's aimed at
  5. Not on mailing list and don't do the cesspits that are Twitter and Facebook. So as I said poorly promoted as missed a large part of the support who, like me are in the same boat. Do you think there will be no announcement on the website or nationwide about that meeting? It's the first issue I've had in this regard, indeed has been no release on website since the Poole draw, not even a quote following the win at Berwick.
  6. Masters and Pickering will win races anywhere, if Thomson or Paco have an on night too only takes a few points from elsewhere and they're in with a chance. Be mad to write them off as I've seen one person do already (although pretty sure the rod was out with that one)
  7. Could this be the end of Harris's guesting exploits
  8. Given Edinburgh's recent choice of guests and acceptance of this fixture is anyone else of opinion they have basically written this season off? Putting all efforts, understandably, into finding a new home.
  9. Was poorly promoted IMO. Nothing on website I only knew was on from bspl website
  10. I believe Tom Brennan is too. Any news if he'll be missing? Or would he get 28 day ban if didn't fulfill a UK fixture in preference for Poland?
  11. You don't improve a product by reducing the quality to the lowest denominator. That's a recipe for disaster quicker than British speedway is going already. I think sedgys form so far in comparison to the 2 names aforementioned would be very desirable. As I understand the rules can apply for visas after 12 months, Grant's been in charge for far longer although I know some dispute with this being a new company I've read elsewhere might be why taken so long. Even that situation, look at Birmingham. They've used belle Vue to sponsor Pearson and Glasgow to sponsor sedgy. There are way around it if you wish to find them. I mean what do we do next season if a club decided to build 3/4 points below that points limit? Just keep reducing it? Here an idea, put bonus points back in GSA's. Job done
  12. Ask Rob grant he's the man promised signings . Again it's a different argument, Newcastle were weak at start of season through choice. They chose to sign Congreve and complin, could've off top of my head signed sedgy and kelleher. I could list riders who used to ride in UK but don't now only to be shot down by the he rides in Poland police so I'll decline. Sunday is a nightmare day, I know issues we had trying to get signings when was our race day
  13. That's a totally different argument. At point Newcastle signed BWD there were plenty riders hadn't been announced (whether signed or not is different argument). Until such times as Poland change their rules there's not going to be any. unless can make it more rewarding for a Becker or wolbert to ride champ than in Denmark.
  14. That's not for me to say. But the argument fed up hearing it's the leagues fault Newcastle built a cheap team that was never going to be competitive
  15. Newcastle chose this team, unlike Birmingham who had to cobble together from the scrapheap. The points limit or state of the league is not to blame for that
  16. Promising changes might be easier said than done unfortunately
  17. Suppose this what happens now got a fair track to race on. Sad to see, home hammerings no good for anyone
  18. Off top of my head and not having checked fixtures I'm guessing Barker and starke might come under 0.75 of masters and Pickering's averages?
  19. The teams have been built incredibly similar, a number 1, an upwardly mobile young Brit, an experienced head in middle order and always should have strong reserves. Losing jye probably the one rider going to effect you most as can't cover with r/r for a someone riding a point or 2 over their average. Be like if basso was injured for us, severely weaken the team
  20. Yeah this isn't good at all. Will be 0.75 guests if they're riding in Poland not very competitive or attractive for supporters
  21. No one has said anything negative about danyon. He had a great night and has been excellent all season. It's just been a failing of past Glasgow sides of not being clinical in meetings where that point could be difference between top and second and having the choice of teams in the play offs. Don't want to see this side going same way. Given had 5-1 in 13 and the winner of heat 14 going to a rider who hadn't done a lap since heat 8 seemed like a mistake to me..but as explained basso wasn't able to take his place and danyon volunteered then that's good to know and easier to take!!
  22. Hadn't ridden since heat 8. Nearly half the meeting before, tracks change
  23. Strange decision in heat 15. If 4 points are there should be taken imo
