  1. Howarth a strange choice for me. 3 from 5 rides at ashfield last season. Seems in better form this season but with free reign not sure would've been my choice. Suppose come down to whose guests go better on the day
  2. No idea on averages but if he fits I'm assuming the leagues perennial guest will be at no.1. bottom end be bit harder to find a points scorer.
  3. Like Newcastle and Plymouth why would you when guests strengthen your team every week? And I'm not having a go at the teams as we've all taken advantage over the years just stating a fact
  4. So it Thomson and Starkey in as guests for the stripes. Probably as good as could get really. Tough meeting with Barker and a guest at no.1, would hope gladiators tail be too long without Gilkes away from home and can get home 50-40
  5. Really? 4 Friday tracks only one meeting on? Bizarre. Ah well maybe not then. Fully expect Harris then
  6. Rain forecast pretty much all day tomorrow and Friday morning drying up from about lunchtime. The track has very good drainage, be shocked if it's off. With so many teams racing on Friday you won't be able to strengthen up at no.1 too much
  7. Will this weekend be first of many missing Brennan and basso? Would hope both qualify for SGP2 which as I understand will run along side the grand Prix at same tracks in same way Moto GP and F1 do
  8. Assume Morley be too high average to replace Atkins if rumours true?
  9. Wow didn't see that coming. Great effort from the gladiators with only 4 of their own riders
  10. Within last 10 years anyway. Derek sneddon rider I most remember doing it, got away with it for years
  11. Didn't meetings used to filmed and sold as dvds at end of the season? Always thought meetings were recorded
  12. Anders Rowe is allegedly available if you believe the Leicester thread. But on best for that's a serious drop in standard!! I'd stick with him too just saying the promotion not noted for their patience
  13. Massively. Thought dropping to reserve would see return to form yesterday, not even close. Can't imagine he'll be given much more time to get it right, feels a bit like sedgeman last year
  14. I assume it's the sgp2 qualifiers. Yeah they're the 2 riding over their averages
  15. I see messrs basso and Brennan missing next week against Plymouth. They're not going to be easy to replace with guests
  16. Happiness if you want to be pedantic. Going to go around correcting people might try get that right
  17. 40-38 before my time hence always been 46-44 to me
  18. Totally disagree. There's an old saying heaven is 46-44, I stand by that. 7-1 over the weekend, before it started we'd all have taken that
  19. Other than broc riders pretty much rode to their averages, you'd hope for more at home but it got us over line. I don't see a teams top 3 getting 37 at ashfield again this season, or cookie only winning one heat. Couple riders hopefully get a track day this week try iron out some issues. Whole teams gating was pretty poor today
  20. As I said before, it's a strange twist of fate that both teams seem to go better at each others tracks just now. Most important thing is 3 points but hopefully a kick up the a*** for rest of the season. Masters as impressive a visitor as ever seen to ashfield... Check his fuel
  21. Hopefully kick starts broc's season today a spell back at reserve
  22. One of Lawson's meeting last season would've scored 6 or 7 if race ended on the 3rd lap
