Being in Scotland I've seen my share of wet meetings. While not ideal or as exciting I appreciate it's a necessary evil of an outdoor sport reliant on the Scottish weather. Not that I condone it but if that bad why not "do a Redcar?"
Obviously wasn't there but times are comparable to the week before up until heat 14. If was so bad wouldn't expect that. End of day we're heading into a British autumn weather not going to get any better so if the track is safe then meeting should go ahead. Can't expect to turn up every week to a car park
Bjarne improved as meeting went on, still a class act could ride couple more seasons but can see why wants to go out on his terms. Sad to see crump getting passed by riders wouldn't be on same postcode as him in his prime. Jumped more starts than the sarj tonight ha
Enjoyed that again tonight. Score doesn't reflect the racing or effort Plymouth put in to the meeting. Ruml and Cook in particular can't have worked so hard for so few points. Nowak could just be a trump card going into the play offs
See Redcar Vs Leicester been called off and Douglas supposedly guesting for Poole at scunny now. Enough time for Plymouth to add Morris/ howarth/ Wright to replace Lawson and get there on time?
Weather been dry since this morning, forecast now changed not expecting any more showers, should be set fair for a good night's entertainment. Looking forward to seeing Marcin
Yeah back then were renting off the football club so track dimensions couldn't really be altered. Now our owners own the stadium they reduced the football pitch to widen the track
Since sorted the dip on the 3rd bend out it's such a better racetrack. The fim qualifier probably one of the best meetings I've ever seen. Tbh it's not dissimilar to the NSS now in that it's pretty much flat out with wide corners and banking
I think realistically your only guest options would've been summers or starke given amount of teams racing tonight. Neither of whom would likely score what the son of God would either
Limited guests available, think only Kent Berwick and Newcastle not riding and surprised to see we're using Barker for Brennan as apposed to him riding in place of Lawson.
