  1. Since can't thank the comment will say thank you .
  2. Perhaps I've missed something but how are Poole getting a young Dane on a 4? Don't they come on 5s like basso, borke and Knudsen all did? Is it one whose not ridden in their top League or something? Seen it said on here a few times about a Dane hence my question.
  3. https://www.ma.org.au/woffinden-and-holder-headline-2023-johnnie-hoskins-founders-cup/ Very good field
  4. Good looking side bandits putting together, long overdue a good season
  5. Yeah need worrall and flint to add a point each and one of the bottom 4 to score genuine 2nd string points. Should win at home but can see a few tankings away
  6. Yeah kinda my feelings too. Might still make play offs with bomber hopefully helping out the youngsters
  7. I'm generally more of a fan of youngsters with potential than guys on way down on "false averages" tbh. Starkey was a 6 pointer not so long ago and between Newcastle, Plymouth and Birmingham hes been at clubs that haven't had their issues to seek. In this watered down league and on decent machinery should really be putting a point on his average. I'd probably have preferred hook, borke or Joe T for the reason above but he never let us down in his first spell will give him full support
  8. Probably strongest side I've seen announced/ rumoured. Will obviously depend on the injured riders form when come back and Edwards stepping up in the main body like Connor did this year.
  9. Yeah 100%, even as Friday track we've found more and more issues. I assume why we've gone with a predominantly British 1-7 this year. Only a few years were several Saturday tracks in champ, last season was only Berwick. With worky and I think Plymouth will be more this season right enough
  10. There will never be another Pele but every half decent Brazilian since he retired gets labelled the next one. It's a lazy stereotype is essentially what I was getting at
  11. Starting in main body would be my concern. In fairness haven't seen much of him but came over with the traditional next Darcy reputation so hope comes true!
  12. The landscape has changed dramatically since 2018 unfortunately now that even 2nd tier 2nd strings are holding out for Poland. In Bailey's case he'd earn far more taking no rides as a no.8 in 2nd tier in Poland than if he got a max for worky. Can't blame him tbf, would you do the same job for half the wages of double was on offer?
  13. We do actually. Unless Poole or Birmingham have decided to purchase his registration. As stated earlier took over his registration from bspl after Eastbournes sad demise
  14. Probably would've preferred keeping Tom and not taking worrall but that's the decision made. Best of luck to him and sure be a nice wee loan fee
  15. Not entirely sure but think I read somewhere nowak equivalent would be an 8 now. But an Aussie/ Dane riding in extraliga with no UK experience would be a 5. Work that one out
  16. Yeah I'd imagine there will be a few tutoring sessions by Mr Harris before the season starts too. I can't say overly excited by this signing but the move away from the comfort/ stress (delete as appropriate) of being the captain of your hometown club might just allow him to kick on to a 7 plus by end of season. Must be one of strongest 3rd HLs in this league too I'd wager
  17. Roger M seems to have some obsession with the facenna's finances. Then you've got a fan of a team who'd spent fortune's to win the inside it a donut in the era before we did talking about an empty trophy cabinet.. couldn't make it up
  18. Who could've seen that coming... Oh aye everybody
  19. If you're lucky a 30 word statement in the sun. Papers up here have 0 interest in anything that's not football
  20. Only the first rider getting announced then. Don't really see the point dragging it out myself, not like be any media coverage in the papers about the signings.
  21. Perhaps with Plymouth not committing to run until the AGM, with another offer on the table it was trigger decided to go?
  22. I'd just have reacted but seems I can't again so give you an lol
  23. https://x.com/glasgowtigers/status/1730207870589767701?s=20 Hope this works. It's pretty vague but that's what I took out of it. unless everyone's over excited about seeing lee and Simon Lambert? Lol
