Bellego in particular had an awful season throughout Europe but is clearly better than a 6 in a potentially weakened champ. And I know it never happen but Vadim again on a 5 is surely a must

Claus got 6 his last visit, r/r won't get that. Toms poor at Poole, Vadim never seen the place and the reserves are the reserves. We are definitely weakened without Claus. To say it's only Poole who are is wrong imo

Much like Poole did on Monday our last visit to WR I think we were level or just up over the last 7/8 heats. It's hard to say how much or that was Poole having it won and protecting averages or genuine improvement. As you say they talks all been good seem fired up but we just do not go the track

First 4 heats will be decider for me. If usual plan is followed Vadim will get the first r/r ride in heat 3, bomber and Tom in heat 1. I think we need to get out of that run of heats ahead if possible, level at worst. If Poole get up early think will be curtains

Was only 4/5 races probably last night. The biblical rain and time of the year obviously had an effect on it. Fact was any kind of passing or racing I thought was huge testament to the track staff. Sorry to be broken record but as with Ipswich at Sheffield and Sheffield at Ipswich we're running the biggest meetings of the season at the least optimal time of the year. Why do we run Bsn trophy at start of season for example and not end? Go straight into league racing could have it wrapped up by end of August and then can move onto a tournament that sure teams would like to win but if run in poor conditions then more acceptable imo. Might even extend some clubs seasons who don't make play offs too (not in terms of more meetings but fans not having any home matches after August can't be easy)
