Starkey at Birmingham would have been another option. It's strange one I agree as technically are riders who could be available strange don't want the extra meeting -

Well it's certainly not because they're riding abroad is it? -

A well used term north of the border: sporting integrity. Are you genuinely excited about going to watch a procession of 5-1s? -

Tell me whose available for them? Sedgy is at Birmingham, so is most of Scunthorpe. You'd need to ask Leon why he's not available. Spud probably not available due to work commitments. Wells allegedly retired. Whose left? Batch probably wanted too much money. Any of them riding abroad... -

Never said it was Poole's fault, pointing out that it's an uncompetitive fixture impossible to promote. This situation has nothing to do with foreign riders though, been decimated by injuries but as was suggested Poole used their alternative night of Friday a more competitive side would surely be available given only other fixture is Redcar and Edinburgh. -

Just seen lineups. I get you want to win but FFS this is supposed to be the pinnacle of the league and the peak of the season. But rather than wait a week you'd rather run up a cricket score against what is barely an NDL side? Think I'll pass even watching it on BSN -
Absolutely. When the club's decided wanted a home leg each for jubilee final the bspl should just have gone you've a free date this date that's your home leg deal with it. Having it after the play offs in the cold and most likely wet of October/ November is going to entice no-one. Not having a go at anyone in particular but need much stronger leadership and dare I say an independent chairman/ board. Glasgow and Leicester haven't had champ matches for weeks, should have been done and dusted by now imo

Tbh I've never considered moving up was ever really a goer. But with now having Tom and Ben as assets, cookie doing a bit of average reduction at Sheffield this year () then there's probably no better time especially with doubts over Edinburgh. I wish the Brummies well and as Tom stays in Midlands would make sense for his PL club IF it happened. Like you say, he won't come cheap though and given he's guested often for you and not increased the gate this season would it get more through turnstiles as a FT Brummie? I hope it would but jury's out for me
