  1. Final 2 points I'll make... What would Poole have done had roles been reversed. And now having given Poole an extra incentive there's no chance we'll get through
  2. I mean Glasgow have obviously played a blinder. Down to potentially 5 riders given Starkey carrying knocks already and a not ideal track. But leaves a bitter taste, why wasn't it earlier start or even Friday night. To hell with BSN coverage if that was the reason!!
  3. Sorry but that's an absolute farce. Simple solution was earlier start, weather hasn't changed all week now we have a nonsense situation like this. Whether it's safe or not I don't know bit the situation should never have arisen in first place
  4. If it restarts imo favours Poole as well. Better gaters and 2 or 3 in the stripes not a fan of a wet track
  5. To quote howlin Pele almqvist of the hives: "hate to say I told you so". If started at 4 or even 5 be done by now. Mental
  6. I'm 15 miles away and sun's out. It's just going to be one of those days look to avoid the worst of what wet stuff there is around
  7. That's going to be an issue now anyway. Look like missing 23 which makes I believe Scunthorpe then Glasgow the Friday priority tracks. If Oxford then say they want to try Fridays next season then when (hopefully) Edinburgh come back then Friday may not be an option. Feels a bit like Glasgow in 97, we had to go with Sundays as lost Friday's when missed the 96 season. And as my old man's forever telling me Friday was our night they stole it
  8. Planes landing all day n night fine, 4 bikes for 90 minutes once a week no that's just too much. Good old council logic
  9. Not just promoters. I used to think Jason garrity was a myth until I saw him on the telly!!
  10. 80% chance of rain in possilpark from 7pm tomorrow according to met office. Think should try get this moved forward an hour or 2 or risk either a call off or far from ideal track conditions.
  11. Not having a home meeting since early August is my biggest fear. Yes some of the guys have PL spots and had some testing last couple of weeks but doesn't prepare you for play off speedway. I fear getting caught cold as the enemy have been tonight
  12. Trying a bit too hard maybe. I don't know, certainly not the result I foresaw but fair play to the lions by far better team on the night.
  13. Getting out the gates like scalded cats. Which they probably were after Wednesday
  14. Feels like gone for most reliable option. Ruml could be fantastic or he could be awful. Starkey I'd be shocked if got less than 7 in each leg. I understand the choice but I'd probably have taken the risk on ruml too. Danyon at reserve could've been huge at Poole, shame he's missing out
  15. Can understand Starkey, former tiger never let us down. Won couple heats with Oxford at Poole from no.2 could be a trump card at reserve. Former Poole rider as well isn't he?
  16. Thought would be a preview up by now given it's a holiday weekend up her try drum up bit of added interest. The website has been pretty shawdy the full season actually.
  17. Looking at corresponding league fixtures, it was Edinburgh's 4th home meeting. Sarj, hook and lasse got 6 points between them and even Pickering was pretty subdued on 7. Bickley guested got 5 and mountain got 6+2. I don't see that happening again with lasse and hook now dialled into the dump. Should be good meeting but I think the enemy win 50-40
