  1. Not sure. Just not same rider this season IMO and while he's been in America apparently I think the inactivity has hampered him..was very poor in rides on Sunday
  2. 8-12 points think be a good effort tonight. In all honesty I can't see it happening but we live in hope. Mon the stripes
  3. Because the Scunthorpe match was in summer when there were drying conditions. There is no chance of it drying on a September's evening in Glasgow. Simple as that
  4. Only day in next 10days looks good is Thursday but assume we're not allowed to run as prem play offs be on?
  5. As I said, IF it was the reason. Thanks for clearing that up. Makes maintaining 6pm start all the more puzzling
  6. Half term I suppose you'd call it. Friday and Monday at end of September are traditionally Scottish holiday weekends. Which usually means the pubs and clubs do a roaring trade
  7. 18 year old kid had a free night out in Glasgow on a holiday weekend and he was out photographing the track? Times have changed since my youth
  8. The water was just to keep dust down. Ffs listen Ian Brannan he was asking for water at the heat 4 grade as the dust was going in his coffee!!!
  9. You've hit nail on head why poole wanted to carry on. Far better gaters obviously gave them an advantage
  10. What didn't show you is that all Poole riders management and fans had been round the track with hairdryers for an hour before that was taken
  11. Said it all week mate. Rain was due half 6/7 ever since Wednesday on the met office for possilpark. I don't know if we asked to move it or not but given the forecast 6pm was odd
  12. It's a fair race track doesn't take much practice. Plus son of God done as many laps round it as anyone
  13. Final 2 points I'll make... What would Poole have done had roles been reversed. And now having given Poole an extra incentive there's no chance we'll get through
  14. I mean Glasgow have obviously played a blinder. Down to potentially 5 riders given Starkey carrying knocks already and a not ideal track. But leaves a bitter taste, why wasn't it earlier start or even Friday night. To hell with BSN coverage if that was the reason!!
  15. Sorry but that's an absolute farce. Simple solution was earlier start, weather hasn't changed all week now we have a nonsense situation like this. Whether it's safe or not I don't know bit the situation should never have arisen in first place
  16. If it restarts imo favours Poole as well. Better gaters and 2 or 3 in the stripes not a fan of a wet track
  17. To quote howlin Pele almqvist of the hives: "hate to say I told you so". If started at 4 or even 5 be done by now. Mental
