So now we are left with Douglas as a top heat leader, Mountain as a good 2nd string, Allen and Toft as poor 2nd strings, Lambert as a poor reserve and Clegg and Ablitt as 2 sick jokes
-
What a rubbish team Scunny have now got except for Ryan Douglas and Connor Mountain, 5 changes needed

Think you got that wrong, Glasgow hold a TWO point lead against Scunny from the 1st leg -

Ryan Kinsley paid 11 tonight for Oxford , would have been far better with Joe Thompson than Clegg and Ablitt

12.05.2023 - Scunny v Glasgow BSN Series SF L1

Toft is a world beater when he rides for visiting teams at Scunny, put him in a Scunny race jacket very ordinary rider. -

Hopefully for Scunny this is just a blip, losing by only 2 points in a last heat decider when 2 Scunny heat leaders were rubbish and the new signings hardly scored is not the end of the world. -

Unfortunately Vissing is renowned for being a dirty rider especially from the gate, he did try and take Douglas out when they met but failed -

Both Allen and Toft were useless, Allen’s score was boosted with his team mate Max Clegg falling and he just managed to beat young Pjiper, should have kept Joe Thompson and used Ryan Kinsley again. -

Thank God this was only a Mickey Mouse competition that no one will remember at the end of the season, seems that Scunny want 4 new signings, Jake Allen was a complete embarrassment struggling to beat young Pjiper, Toft wasn’t much better and words can’t describe the ridiculous 2 new signings but having said all that congratulations to Glasgow on their win with all their riders attacking the track. -
Probably would have been better than Clegg or Ablitt
-
Can’t see this being on v Birmingham, absolutely hammering it down here in Crowle nearby
-
Surely after his last 2 matches Joe Thompson isn’t going to be replaced as he is a bright prospect for the future, maybe it is time for Simon Lambert to go
-
MPT looked a class rider for Scunthorpe in the Championship on Friday whether from the gate or from the back scoring a maximum, perhaps this is his level now.

Didn’t get it stamped coz I knew I wasn’t coming back, what’s the point when a crash at any time can get the meeting cancelled at Scunny. -

Yes I have, it was a bloody farce, after over 60 years watching time to hang my speedway programme board up and do something else. -

After 62 years following speedway I can now confirm what everybody knows, speedway is a laughing stock and no one in charge knows how to fix it, last night at Scunny was ridiculous, hanging around for ages freezing your bo**cks off waiting for the inevitable cancellation, should have been called off straight after the crash due to the serious injury and no back up Ambulance. -

There will always be 2 sides to any story, mine was should I go as it’s only Newcastle but then again the racing is sometimes better with a struggling team visiting, in the end the choice was made for me
