  1. It is what club has said over long period of time, not one specific thing.
  2. Once again, Monarchs talk big and fail to deliver. It’s a pattern
  3. Feel sure you are right. Didn’t Eastbourne fall foul of this in their NL days?
  4. Good point. As is often the case, this news has dribbled out in a column in the Star. Fair play to Dick for his scoop. Thanks for uncovering this secret. However, surely such a huge change was worthy of a BSPL statement.
  5. Agree. Jody had to work hard and find different lines to make the passes and hold lead.
  6. Why has it arisen now. As I have said twice before, he signed in November. Plenty of time to get visas straight. If it is a visa issue, someone has mucked up big time. Let’s hear it straight from Birmingham.
  7. What about it being a good meeting for those of us who will actually be on terraces?
  8. Something’s amiss. As I pointed out, zagar signed in November. Lindgren came in mid season so not really comparing like with like.
  9. Need to offer incentives for fans to attend. Free programme wouldn’t go amiss. On your specific point, the crossing in front of pits is a real pinch point. Lynn need to look again at how they manage that crossover. It is convoluted as it stands and not safe when people stop to gawp.
  10. Oh dear. Not been to a match being screened live (except BSN) for long time but past experience was that the fan on the terrace paying 30 plus quid for a night out was given no consideration by TV company.
  11. Zagar was signed in November. Visa issue arises five months later.
  12. No need to speculate. Plenty of info from Poland.
  13. Don’t think so. Bought my ticket at 1pm before gates opened. Then sat in my car, listened to radio, keeping warm, ate my lunch and then waltzed into stadium with no delays. As has been said, they did 21 heats in a little over 2 hrs once racing started. Races flowed quickly in blocks of four. No complaints from me about delayed start, it’s a testimonial after all. As has been said by another,I welcome a bit of tractors so I could catch up with people I only se e at speedway. Great day for Puk. So pleased for him. Also good to see a 4TT again.
