  1. Officially, Engine Failures (EF's) don't exist anymore in the UK But I believe most British fans will write EF in their programme, whenever a rider is forced to stop because of his bike.
  2. I'd like to think someone reliable has all the NL averages, but unfortunately the often inaccurate official ones may have to be accepted.
  3. Recent comments from Harry Doonan I have lost the battle. Once it goes, it goes, as no one is going to come up and say they have a piece of ground for us to use. So Weymouth has lost another amenity. I sent five letters to five directors of Morgan Sindall and not one of them has replied. I sent the letters on February 9 so for them to not even reply just shows what they are about. I know it’s a bit of a lost cause but hopefully the people of Weymouth will stand up and say how fed up they are, otherwise the town will become a concrete jungle. The site was designated for sport and recreation use back in 1950 so why should things change? At this rate, there will be nothing left for the kids of the town – legacies are being lost.
  4. Yeah that's better Rob p.s You might be able to help out in my 'Pointless' thread, take a look
  5. So Bradford are leading the way, and Oxford are cheating. Yeah I'm cool with that
  6. That's two clubs in one though Rob, I'd call that cheatin'
  7. I think that was the other Bradford club, at Greenfields Greyhound track
  8. There's quite a few others with 3, but at Odsal there were the... Bradford Boomerangs Bradford Tudors Bradford Northern and Bradford Dukes and in Dorset they've had the Weymouth Scorchers Weymouth Royals Weymouth Eagles Weymouth Wizards and Weymouth Wildcats
  9. Somebody might be able to give you more Gorka. But please see HERE
  10. Good looking site, and the logo's perfect My one criticism would be the picture used for the heading. The rider behind the lettering should be cropped out.
  11. It can't always be proved one way or the other. Generally, if a rider is in a point-scoring position when he suddenly slows, it's an engine failure - 'EF' If he's at the back and not getting near a point, it's usually classed as a retirement - 'R' or 'Ret' Certain riders have, over the years, had a habit of finding a mysterious engine problem when they're at the back. People will often choose to write '0' by their name in the programme, in a 'you're not fooling anyone' kind of statement
  12. Shame they don't fly to the States from Wellesbourne huh ? If you could only do one weekend in California, I'd have to say make it Gumball weekend ! And with Billy H getting even more involved it can only get better and better
  13. No, Billy J's in great shape He certainly won't be in a league of his own on Saturday though. Mr Hamill has lined up a race-fit Greg Hancock to challenge him at the Gumball meet. Wish I was there again ! Gotta be Josh Larsen !
  14. Please try and remember that not everyone who uses the forum has English as their first language.
  15. And because of that... Please keep the posts related directly to the thread, thankyou
  16. I wanted to post the other day, but I didn't know how to put my thoughts into words. But I'll try, and I hope not to offend. I wasn't even in my teens when I saw the crash that night, and it's never left me. Being a kid, I knew little about either of the riders involved. They were both heroes for just being out there, doing it...and I was jealous of them ! I've gone on to learn a lot about the sport from both sides of the fence. On the outside, as a fan, you'll often remember great riders and races, brilliant comebacks and winning trophies. And moments like those can give you a tingle for years on end. But seeing a crash like Vic and Steve's or being on the 4th bend of the centre green when Ales Dryml was hit in the head at Oxford...those memories, well to be honest, they bring tears to my eyes every time
  17. I miss ya, so I'm glad you're still around. Hope to see you soon xx

  18. No problem, and after 300+ downloads there might still be someone left who needs it, so here's mine again Err... No
  19. You're very welcome mate...and you fixerman Nice to see that 2 people (after 280-odd downloads) could be bothered to comment
  20. Yes, I can't understand why threads were joined together either. Hopefully THIS thread will remain separate. Adding to the choice.... I may as well add this link to the full season spreadsheet as well.
  21. Steve, ignore the confusion caused above, just click here mate.
  22. Dziękuję Mama ...and for whoever wants it, you can download a 'full season' spreadsheet HERE Let me know if you have any problems at all, or spot any faults with it.
