  1. Rushen, not Rushden. And he's riding for King's Lynn so no.. 😂
  2. Most are back over here already, some only just prior to it kicking off. But others are coming back via the USA which is a fair bit longer but they'll get here. Can also go via Singapore or Malaysia too into a European hub like Amsterdam and on from there.
  3. It also surely isn’t really practical to run NDL meetings on the busiest night for the Championship, as so many riders will be unavailable, it’s possible that 8 of the 9 sides could be racing at the same time. In other news, Jody Scott on the Bears Facebook Live tomorrow night and also revealing the date for the U21 Final. Monday 7pm
  4. Surely gaps are to allow to BSN Series semis and finals, and KO Cup rounds?
  5. I don't think anyone is claiming it is ideal, logistics and accommodation affect everyone. However I think on this occasion it's best to take a bit more time to think things through for the longer term, and hopefully a lot more straightforward in future. Some of the issues are beyond the BSPL, waiting for legal processes or 3rd party discussions etc to run through. Hopefully light at the end of the tunnel now.
  6. And just like that today is the day!
  7. I think don’t worry about it, soon the day will come and you’ll wonder what all the stress was about 🧘
  8. Maybe judge it from the not free stream... That was not the normal show, due to it being (checks notes) Free. 😂
  9. They did try, I know cos I did some stuff for a pilot of it but it never happened beyond that for whatever reason. They did those online short things instead. Drive to Survive has a massive budget though to be fair, and it is a good show because they have those resources to be everywhere at all times, but that is very expensive. To put it like for like, Drive to Survive has a bigger budget than the entirety of world speedway I'd say.
  10. Yeah, probably won't happen, but Drive to Survive has absolutely brought new fans into F1 in massive massive numbers, it has transformed F1. Probably won't happen, but if we say that about everything nothing will ever happen.
  11. This has absolutely nothing to do with speedway for the foreseeable future. This will drag on for months if not years, because with it being such a big takeover everyone and their mother in the film world will have their say on it. In any case existing contracts will continue. Hey if Netflix can take a shine to speedway in the same way as F1, then that isn't a bad thing.
  12. It is pretty clear / likely that no fixtures will be announced until after anything is confirmed. In the meantime, yes BSN "is a thing" and for a Christmas treat why wait till March, we're going to Australia for the Aussie champs and the FIM Oceana championship. £44.99 for 6 meetings. Fun for all the family and high possibility of Greg Blair fighting a kangaroo/snake/spider. You don't get that on TNT.
  13. Problems like this are usually caused by a number of things including running video on a device without enough ram to handle the processing of it, especially as you have a number of video feeds involved. Plus shaky wifi / slow internet. If you're not in the same room as your router you're asking for it. Always use a wired connection where possible. Plus the software you're using will massively affect how things sound. Zoom and Teams are obviously very popular but they totally screw your audio setup, and also squish the file as small as possible. If you are using those often they have a tick box somewhere for HD audio, that will help. Zoom & FaceTime are used by the BBC etc and they sound good but they run it either with video off and record the video on a separate cam or phone and put it together in production, or they use a broadcast grade version which isn't available in the shops.
  14. Humans Of Speedway podcast has been off for a couple of years, but coming back. Got Bruce Penhall first up hopefully in the next week, it’s almost finished but will also be with video on Spotify and YouTube. But there’s nearly 60 previous episodes
  15. Yes I think that is still 1 place there for the highest placed Aussie rider on the Oceana Championship. (There will be British riders in that too and possibly others) But 4 places can be won in the Aussie champs, which also ends at Gillman.
