  1. Would Panthers be better off using Connor Mountain Home and away against Kings Lynn. If I remember rightly he goes quite well on both tracks.
  2. Just curious, Does anyone know who the promoter was set to be for yesterday's rained off meeting?
  3. In fairness this meeting has always been on with regular updates from the Panthers on Twitter, Facebook, Evening Telegraph, Radio Cambridgeshire, & their own website.
  4. Andy Abbot talking on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire just now suggested that the Sheffield Promoter can run the Panthers v Tigers meeting on Thursday.
  5. Which brings us full circle round to perhaps why Kings Lynn v Panthers was postponed for a couple of weeks.
  6. Yes I have been to every home meeting and the crowds have been decent. The lowest perhaps being the recent televised Belle Vue meeting.
  7. Sorry you thought it was an argument. It was merely a point of view.
  8. Whilst I do understand your sentiment, I worry that if the crowds are terrible who would want to take it over.
  9. Speedway talk from today on bbc radio Cambridgeshire, runs from minutes 14.30 to 30.00 mins. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0fw0bhm
  10. This One of the most sensible messages on here, let's support the Panthers Speedway through these difficult times (for current & Potential new owners, & supporters) for now. Then hopefully look forward to a better year next year & beyond.
  11. I agree, not enough riders to go around the 7 teams, team building points limit must be to high. Riders know this and demand high wages = clubs will struggle.
  12. I wonder if that is what is happening, and the postponement is to buy the time required for it to go through?
  13. You have to feel for the Sheffield fans, their promotion always seem to end a meeting after 10 heats whenever they get chance.
  14. Hopefully he'll learn the track a bit more soon. But he is very handy on some of the tighter tracks.
  15. Richie Worrall absolute class last night in the pairs. 100% needs to stay in the Panthers team. Especially for the away meetings. Well done Richie & Ben
  16. I've Decided to leave the Speedway forum site, the Peterborough page is not a good place to visit, for anyone who simply wants to enjoy their speedway.
  17. Yes I agree. Some People seem to be going out of their way to finish this club, I can't understand it.
  18. It can't be true surely. If it was the last meeting then what would be the point in holding this meeting. It would be like saying We are closing down but we will just have one more meeting for the hell of it. Also I guess the speedway authorities would know about it, Kings Lynn would definitely know about it (same owner) so why would they run a meeting when everyone would know that the results will be expunged
  19. Ben Cook has scored 15 points for Poole at Redcar tonight.
  20. I agree Ben Cook put in a good battling performance last night.
  21. Not easy to predict, given that we don't know what the Peterborough Panthers line up is going to be.
  22. The weather forecast for Monday isn't great, perhaps this could buy the club more time to get things sorted. Although I hope it is on.
