  1. I agree with most of your post, fantastic attitude, but come on.. 3.16 next season. This is where the sport falls flat on its face and gets everyone's back up.
  2. oh dear, you still have a bee in yer bonnet about something do you..? i was expecting a few others to bite first, didn't think it would have been you.
  3. Christ, Iv'e read some poop in my time but this one,..pure.....comedy....gold
  4. blimey, who'd have thought eh..!! Are we sure Matt Ford doesn't play the fiddle in the Bournemouth Orchestra...
  5. 7 for everybody. The rule has been set. He'd be a fantastic No.2 at the New 'Stade De Blunsdon' Sign him up Rosco.
  6. i think Starman needs some gigs as he's the funniest i know. Live at the Apollo would be a good one to start at..
  7. for what its worth, it makes no odds to me...... ...... as we didn't make the play-offs ... but.. I do find it strange that AL has been given a 'sevaaan' (I don't watch strictly, honest), I don't blame Poole for doing this as to me this has handed the title to them on a plate, I blame the powers in control, (if you can say that) they obviously have no bloody idea
  8. I haven't really, so that's good news to hear. We'll need to keep it going throughout the winter though, pushing the new stadium etc...
  9. speedway requires a major overhaul to get the sport thriving again. For me, two things are a must: weekly speedway and IMHO, 6 man teams with a similar points limit to this season, 40 maybe..? We don't really have the required riders to facilitate a strong Elite League which over the years promoters have been running a cost saving exercise which by in large, hasn't worked. Promoters need to promote their business, which isn't really been done around the country, except for a few, Poole & Glasgow spring to mind. So let's get the sport back into the public eye and reap the rewards.
  10. Obviously I'll be cheering the boys on tonight via the Advertiser updates but i seriously cannot see us getting 30 tonight. Only JD & the flying midget will trouble Lakeside for me. So a damp squid of a finale in 2016.... roll on new stadium but it wouldn't surprise me if we started at the Abbey again in 2017
  11. every cloud has a silver lining, as we have been sooooo inconsistent this season, at least when we are finally ditched out of the play-offs they can start the NEW stadium a tad earlier..
  12. tad overboard... what a total numpty you really are. Pot..kettle and all that you bloody
  13. I'm going, after all it is speedway, something that has been lacking at Swindon on a weekly basis over the years, much like the everywhere else really. It'll be good to see some different riders that i haven't seen ride before. Looking forward to seeing how they cope with the fast Blunsdon track.
  14. the result last night confirms to me that Poole are favourites for the title, going to a challenging rival with a horses for courses guests and really doing the business. Do we know if Bucks and Holder are riding tomorrow back at the blue groove..?
