worrying times indeed. It was supposed to start 4/5 weeks ago I think..

my argument is that the Coventry & Swindon promotions had different views on how to attract customers through their doors... If Horton had reduced his prices in line with most sky matches he wouldn't have been in a position as he is now. Swindon did have torrential downpours over the weekend, my garden was happy with it though....and the threat was big enough on Monday to question peoples attendance.

I reckon he'll wanna stay and spearhead our title challenge at the 'New' Abbey in 2016... Boy did he look quick on Monday.

Swindon had a huge threat of rain all day, just because it never materialised doesn't change the fact that both scenarios were exactly the same. It just showed Coventry didn't promote the meeting as good as Swindon. Both updates on each day were saying 'the track at the minute is dry' ... heavy clouds around both stadiums. People chose to pay £10 and chance the weather instead of watching on the TV or paying full whack
