According to the Glasgow website, appears we've not been able to replace Kyle so it'll be guests for Kyle and Mario from now on as we're over 75% of the season's fixtures Hopefully we get lucky with guests, as we did on Friday. Shame for Mario as he could have done well with a spell at reserve.

Edinburgh v Glasgow August 7th

A great result for the Tigers, and a brilliant night of racing between two teams putting on a hard-fought meeting. Thanks to all 14 riders for their efforts, and an extra mention to Reid and Nick, vital performances from our guests - at last 😜Today's playlist in the car includes Lenny Kravitz "It ain't over til it's over". Cheers Paco... Decent chance we could meet again before the season is out via playoffs. Just need a way to stop pesky Poole. -

I agree the Tigers are not formidable this year, but every single rider has had a different 'wow' meeting and also a few rubbish ones. Mario has been knocked down in our most recent opening heats. Doubt that's helping his confidence or health much. Along with his partner the last few matches changing each week and them also scoring poorly. No 2 is notoriously a difficult situation for a new rider. But I do think he's a good rider and wholly expect him back next season. Mario going to reserve now should benefit him and us. Concerned by Sam's boom or bust form, which is not what we expected from him. Our overall lack of gaters was on show last night, thank goodness for KJP, Leon, Freddy and the titan that is Bomber. I hope Bomber stays a Tiger for years to come, guy is absolute box office. If we can get a decent replacement for Kyle, we will be fine for the playoffs and we'll see what happens then. No chance with R/R as there's too much of a risk if someone gets hurt or has on an off night. Need a reliable replacement. When your number one only scores 3, every team is likely in trouble unless reserves are flying. A point won for the Tigers last night. -
I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the Tigers this season, even though we finished without a trophy, the racing has been amazing and I hope we can go one step better next season. Given we have no clue about points limit, or the league structure, it's all a guess what the team could be. But it's always fun to have a go, and here's my attempt... If it's 40 points again, how about: Chris Harris 8.90 Bowtell / D. Kennedy (A.N. Other under 5) Nick Morris 6.86 Leon Flint 6.95 Villads Nagel 7.39 Max Perry 2.29 Freddy Hodder 2.63 Make the most of 5 of this year's riders coming back again and adding a former Tiger in Nick Morris. Hopefully we'd see the two reserves pushing on. We saw glimpses throughout the year that they can add points but I think another season would give them both the chance to push on. Seems daft to keep giving up on riders after a year. Whatever happens, I'll be there in 2026 with my season ticket and the Mrs wants a season ticket too after attending a few times this year!

A fantastic night of racing. Ebbed and flowed and did look like Edinburgh had enough of a lead late on. But full credit to every Tigers rider, each point mattered and was fantastic to see Max having a score he deserves for the effort he puts in. Bomber is absolute box office, and Leon, Dan, Kyle and Freddy fought for every point. Tremendous effort. Really hope Villads is able to get fit and is back for the final. He clearly wasn't fit before his first heat crash and it's a credit to him that he tried to race on. He'll go far in this sport as he's so quick and seems fearless. Top notch signing. Huge thanks to the riders, management and fans of both sides. Made it an enthralling match with a Hollywood ending for the Tigers. Track staff deserve a round of applause because it was a fair and fast track for all. Really hope we can give more superb performances and win the playoffs as the racing has been awesome this season.

Some lease, like Chicago, others own. TV money shared out across the league evenly with a strict wage cap in place that all must adhere to.

Nagel is having a tremendous season for someone so young and is so exciting to watch. His high scoring makes his absence, or having an off form rider, more noticeable in close matches as our track is so popular with the visitors - who've by and large kept most meetings close. Unfortunately 😜 There's no disrespect intended to Max or Freddy, who have provided vital points that have sealed wins for us over the year. Both have been trying very hard with scant reward some nights. I'd expect one or both to be an option again next year for us. Think they've both learned a lot and I think they'll push on next season if they both stay. But Nagel is in demand, he's been involved in individual and national honours (as well as various team ones) which he'll potentially be swayed by. Ideally we see him back on Friday and our season lasts a bit longer. Thoroughly enjoyed our racing this season whatever happens, but would absolutely love us winning the league title if we can get the results needed. Should fear no-one with our full side.

Enjoyed tonight's racing, Harris, Howarth and Nagel finding speed pretty much everywhere. Such a shame for Max, he looked to winding up for a pass when he got sent flying, but the referee box was in the way from my view in the grandstand. Amazed he got up. Making him walk all the way to the pits felt a bit much though...🤣

I'm a returning Tigers fan after MANY years away. Used to go with my dad as a kid to Shawfield every week and occasionally Ashfield, but since his passing 5yrs ago, it's never felt right going alone. No sense wasting more time so I've already bought my season ticket. Looking forward to watching our exciting team (especially Bomber), enjoying some good racing and meeting new people. We can't let this sport drift away.
