Compulsory Strike Off of a company is typically done by Companies House as a result of the Company failing to submit/file the necessary paperwork (I e. confirmation statements and/or accounts). The failure to submit this information is a failure of the company Director(s).
Companies House give companies plenty of notices for submitting the relevant paperwork.
This, as has been said by others, is NOT an HMRC/Tax matter.
If, in this case, Companies House have struck off Northside as a result of failing to submit the necessary returns, this would be a criminal offence (of the company Director(s), which is likely to be the reason for radio silence whilst trying to sort it out.
Why this resulted in the riders being banned from guesting for other teams is unclear...
