Exactly, I agree with you mostly, that's why I said I don't understand them bringing him in so late if they've been talking to him for 3+ months. If they'd made the signing earlier he could have had plenty of time time settle in rather than being thrown in so late on. I'm a neutral as far as the Championship is concerned anyway so makes no difference to me personally, but I hope he goes well, it was a a surprise that he wasn't back at Workington this year. I thought him and Vuolas both missing out on team places was a real shame.

I don't necessarily think its crazy to bring him in, Jacob is a promising rider and a nice lad to boot, but why not earlier in the season if they have been talking to him "since April"? And I think its crazier still that they didn't bring in Vuolas if they're clearly willing to bring in riders from further afield.

As someone who was also following Vuolas' meetings on the continent I would keep in mind that that was his first meeting back after a crash at the end of April, (which was not his fault) 🤔 Got a lot of time for Antti and would have liked to have seen him back in the Championship this year, genuinely thought he would be at Scunthorpe tbh. (Sorry for the random late reply to this comment, only just made an account on here and I like Worky so was having a scroll through all the different pages lol).

Thanks, that makes sense 😄 I was just wondering if maybe he had made a deal somewhere. I know the Scunthorpe fans have been asking for him lol, but I have a feeling he said he wanted to give Championship a miss this year to prioritise his Polish (Latvian) team? Interesting either way, nice to see him back racing at Berwick for sure.

If Drew Kemp is guesting does that mean he must have signed for a Championship team? (Sorry if it's a silly question - I'm new here lol 😂)
