I'm no Belle Vue fan but, to be fair, nobody brings it up more than you! And a pretty poor choice of video to highlight passing last night. Weird how the argument has developed, we've even had some fans suggesting there's too much passing at Belle Vue lol

I don't get why Poole fans are so defensive about suggestions they pay more than some other clubs. It makes perfect sense, they get very good crowds so are in the fortunate position of being able to pay a little bit more if the right man is available. Speedway riders are self-employed and have to maximise their earning potential, so it stands to reason they will sign for a well-run club who can pay a little bit more. I think anyone who suggests they pay well over the top is off the mark, as in anyone who says money isn't a deciding factor.

The Thompson twins will be the main priority I'm sure, but I fear for Plymouth they'll probably end up at one of the league's money clubs.

I thought that was one of the better televised meetings this year. I actually managed to sit through it which is a rarity nowadays, despite the usual commentary howlers (e.g. Chris Harris never fails to disappoint!)

What a mess speedway is! Redcar one night, Plymouth the next then back up North to Worky. An absolute planning triumph.
