German GP 2020 Teterow May 30th

Guessing it will be the second event of the 2020 series, after Warsaw. -

Looks like I missed quite the contest. Wouldn't be to Harsh on Howarth for not wearing gloves, could have done little against Ellis & Morris from 15 metres. King v Ellis live up to billing? Aarnio beats Woffinden on Tuesday, scores 5 at Perry Barr a day later!? How was the racing? Have told better half I'm coming for Lions visit unless something gets in the way like this week, but I'm hoping to convince I can spend my last two days of AL (refreshes soon) in Torun & Grudziądz for Ekstraliga round 12. -
The problem with Torun if it remains the final GP is that the championship is often decided by the time it comes around. If the 2020 calendar remains the similar to this years then had I not visited before, Wroclaw would top my list. While I will likely contradict this myself by going to Prague in 2020, I'd certainly choose a Polish hosted GP. In comparison to living in the US Scandinavia is expensive (unless you're from New York). Fear not. I can't speak anything but English, never had a problem communicating with the locals anywhere in Europe (except Paris).

No idea, just saw it on Facebook, there wasn't much in the way of detail.

Not going to make it this week, things didn't fall into place as I hoped. Next week for the Lions visit hopefully. -

Apologies for this. Trying to catch-up & figure out teams after a busy long weekend. For Sheffield, Kyle Howarth is likely to be injured (it was R/R for Wolves last night) & Kasper Andersen has a commitment in his native Denmark? Does that mean it's a guest for Howarth & R/R for Andersen? For the Brummies, Tero Aarnio has replaced Ulrich Ostergaard but Zach Wajtknecht is taking a break from Speedway so it's R/R for him? -
Ipswich do (probably) have the best reserves in the league.

One good ride against a tentative Jason Doyle on a track full of pot holes, doesn't equal vintage Harris. His Cardiff win was 12 years ago. It must be 7-8 years (or more) since that performance at Wimborne Rd (when the track was OK) when he won the playoffs for the Bee's.

Decent meeting, Witches lack of heat 13 & 15 firepwoer was always going to be their undoing. Bewley having an off night and smart management by Hawkins putting King at #2 got Ipswich a deserved point. Bellegp deserved his heat 15 outing, he looked the most likely to lower the colours of Bjerre or Fricke to me. I did miss heats 9 & 10, so don't know what happened when Fricke was excluded & Harris' bike got damaged.

It must have been a few years since Danny King visited Perry Barr. Has the track changed at all since he (& I) last visited. I think the last time I visited Perry Barr was 2008. Is parking still encouraged on the shopping centre (Asda)? -
So I'm pondering a return to Perry Barr after a long exile. Any electrical faults forecast for the area. Is Ellis riding? Guessing no on Howarth?

Got home from Twickenham just in time to keep an eye on the last 5 heats while watching the Champions League final. The Woffinden/Zmarzlik encounter in the heats looked like a decent race, I was more intent on keeping a Beagle snout out of my Chinese. The rest of what I saw didn't seem great but glad Lambert made a semi again, good experience & for his confidence at the top tier. It will be available OD in morning, with watching?

Thought it was still going on as Torun v Gorzow got underway. Had been checking the SGP site between heats expecting results to appear. Laguta quickest, the Lindback & Madsen. Lindgren the slowest if the regulars who attended. #1 is reasonable draw for Lambert considering. Always out on a fresh track, reasonable time between heats.

When is the result of qualifying expected?
